I was already there when I stumbled upon a super great deal on Ctrip, so I decisively canceled my existing reservations at the other hotel. The price difference wasn't huge, but I've always had my eye on this former Hilton. It's closer to Chinatown, and the tram stop is right outside. The standard room is very spacious, the bed is large, and the huge desk is perfect for my occasional work needs. The gym on the second floor is fully equipped and great for a beginner like me. I always see people using the outdoor pool, but I haven't dared to try it yet. The daily greetings and door service from the handsome guy at the entrance always make me happy, haha.

Great location, great staff. But nothing amazing, felt a little outdated in rooms. Also amenities, mini bar, room service were very basic. Rooms with bathtubs should have bath salts. I know they are planning on opening a sauna/steam/cold plunge, which will definetly make stays more pleasant. Good, but just felt little outdated today with all amazing hotels around. I spend a lot of time in hotels, traveling both for work and pleasure, and I appreciate when hotel rooms have good quality tea, better snacks than just crisps and chocolate, nice bath items etc. For me, it was outdated.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent — the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing. The breakfast was also very good with plenty of options to choose from. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again.

Great location. Facilities are a bit old. Breakfast was pretty much the same for the whole week. But the value for money is okay. Overall, it's just so-so. If I come back next time, I might try a newer hotel.

Newly renovated hotel. The lobby is new, but the in-room facilities haven't caught up, especially the hairdryer. It's really, really, *too* old and dirty. Unacceptable.

Very Disappointing Stay Not What We Paid For We booked a Standard King Room expecting a proper king-sized bed, only to arrive and find two single mattresses pushed together. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the worst hotel stays we’ve experienced. The mattresses were uneven, making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep throughout the night. We raised our concerns with the staff, but the only solution offered was to place something between the mattresses, which did little to resolve the issue. To make matters worse, my partner left with back pain as a result of the uncomfortable sleeping arrangement. What was most disappointing was that we were never informed beforehand that the room would have two single beds joined together. Had we known, we would have reconsidered our booking, as this was certainly not what we paid for. We genuinely feel we did not receive value for our money or the standard of service we expected. Guests should be made aware of such arrangements before being checked into a room, especially when they have specifically booked a Standard King Room. Sadly, this experience has left us very disappointed, and I would hesitate to recommend this hotel to others. A comfortable night's sleep is the bare minimum one should expect when paying for accommodation, and unfortunately, that was not our experience.

The location is good, but valet parking is really expensive. Breakfast isn't worth it; the quality doesn't match the price. Front desk service was okay, pretty standard for a budget hotel.

My partner and I stayed here for one night and had a great experience. The foyer is absolutely amazing and the hotel is in a fantastic location. While our room was a bit dated, it was very clean and comfortable.

I had a very pleasant stay at Amora Hotel Adelaide. The location is convenient, with easy access to restaurants and transport. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and both check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Overall, it was a great experience and good value for money. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Adelaide and would happily recommend it to others.
