Charming quaint hotel in Amboise. The hotel was booked as part of a bicycle tour package so I can't speak as to the price or value of our room but we enjoyed our stay. There is a pool but it was too cold for swimming in September. The hotel is within a nice walking distance to the center of town. Restaurant was excellent.

The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast buffet was not great. They charged 22 euros, but quality was not good. For example, selection was not good and scramble eggs tasted like soggy. Comparing price and food didn’t match. The property was so beautiful!

This is a lovely old mansion with beautiful lush green grounds. The rooms have classic furnishings, high ceilings and give you a great feel of period living. It’s walking distance to all attractions. The restaurant serves excellent French cuisine.

Beautiful location. Very sadly hotel tired and run down. Does not live up to expectations. Overpriced and overdue for renovation. Apparently due for renovation in 2025 - hopefully it can redeem its reputation once the renovation works have taken place.

Absolutely dreadful. Run down and neglected. Old and worn out. Hasn't kept up with the times. Such a shame - 20 years ago it was a lovely place. Hopefully it will find it way again. No property shower in bathroom. Carpets frayed. Ceiling leaking. Air con unit out of the ark.

Beautiful, charming cottage... like stepping back in time. Very romantic. Property grounds are lovely. Buildings are showing their age, but that's part of the charm. Due for renovation in Jan '25. Staff was professional & helpful. Breakfast & dinner at the hotel are pricey.

Very close to the town centre.
The room was well appointed spacious and quiet.
The hotel facilities were excellent. The reception staff were attentive and always available.
The on-site restaurant served excellent food in the evening.
There was a swimming pool on-site which was open, although unheated when I was there but that was not a problem at all for me.
Checking in and out all easy and convenient.

The rooms and restaurant were excellent, I chose a superior room overlooking the Loire River. 1st floor, The disappointment was the state of the grounds - swimming pool looked neglected, and the gardens and pathways were untidy.

Super happy to stay in this hotel. It is located in the heart of Amboise, right by the Loire river and it is nice, clean and quiet.Beautiful room. Staffs are nice and helpful. The food in the restaurant is well presented and taste great! A very pleasant stay.
