SpringHill Suites St. Paul Arden Hills

I was bitten by an insect(s) while in the hotel bed, but Samantha, the rude and lying hotel manager, says I was not. I have traveled all over the world and was traveling on business on June 3, 2026, when I awakened at 4 AM to itching on my inner arms. Upon further examination, there were small red bites. Samantha insists they were not bed bugs, but a Dermatologist looked at my pictures (which she refused to take) and determined they were definitely insect bites. Her nonchalant and rude attitude was appalling. I was highly inconvenienced when my room was changed to another floor with no help, having to secure a cart and pack all of my unpacked items, and wheel them on the elevator to another floor. Samantha didn't get back to me regarding the room inspection, which took place that morning until the evening of the following day, and that was based on my insistence to the front desk person. During this delayed response time, I was agonizing over the thought of bringing bed bugs to my home. Her response to why the delay was, "Oh! I forgot." When I pointed out that this was not good customer service, she became defensive and rude. This hotel should not bear the Marriott name with personnel such as Samantha. She is a smear on the brand.

Good hotel. Staff was good. Rooms were very clean. Very good location as well. Downsides wete the breakfast (very limited) and pool was very small.

Was nice until the fire alarm went off at 5am no staff to tell us what was going on until the actual fire department said it was safe to return, we were so frustrated

The room was nice although I was in a sort of corner with a smaller window and the lights were dim. As an older person maybe my eyes need more light. I wished there been more options. The staff were all great. If I’m in that area again I’ll stay there.

Breakfast was not good with little to no options & fake rubbery eggs, otherwise - it was a perfect dry.

Tawnda the front desk clerk provided us excellent service. We had left an item in the room and she went above and beyond to get it back for us.

Very clean room and staff was nice. Easy parking. Was very quiet with even all the people staying there. Usually hotel you can hear people walking and talking but this one was very quiet. Would likely stay again!

I booked the stay from Friday-Sunday and we were in a severe weather warning so for my safety I chose to cancel the booking from Saturday-Sunday to avoid travel issues. I was told by ******* that they would contact the hotel for a refund waiver and was told the hotel denied it. It doesn’t make sense as to why they would deny me a refund when I didn’t stay the extra night. Just seems like they enjoy stealing peoples money and I would never stay here again for that reason.
