Beautifully located hotel, right in the middle of the woods. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful and relaxing, with birds singing everywhere. We really enjoyed taking a little walk around the grounds and simply enjoying the calm atmosphere. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had beautiful views over the gardens. However, the room was not in the main building and was quite difficult to find. Unfortunately, the directions we were given were confusing, and we spent more than 20 minutes trying to locate it before having to return to reception and ask someone to show us the way. We didn't get the chance to try dinner because the restaurant stopped serving quite early, around 8pm. We had other plans and expected to be able to have dinner at around 9pm, so it would have been useful to know about the early closing time in advance. The dinner also seemed quite expensive. We found breakfast quite basic and not very tasty. Despite these minor issues, this is definitely a place I would recommend for a peaceful and relaxing weekend surrounded by nature.

Beautiful surroundings.

We stayed only one night - one Comfort room and one Luxury room at the coach house - but it was lovely. We had a 3-course set dinner (it might be a bit of a push for children) paired with wine in two of the courses. It was lovely. Rooms are comfortable and cosy, with medium sized, simple but cute bathrooms. The hotel rooms acoustics aren’t amazing - or maybe guests coming in late in the night could have been more considerate. We were awakened twice by loud steps and voices coming into the building. Breakfast was fine. There’s many parking spaces outside but only 2 vehicle charging stations.

We had the most magical time here! The property and the surrounding park is incredibly beautiful. The restaurant was delicious, we loved every meal we ate there. The staff were wonderfully kind too. The room was a great size and the bed was really comfortable. We have nothing negative to say, we loved everything!

The location is beautiful. Super that you can just walk into the woods with several well marked routes. Ample spacious free self parking. The building is very nice. The rooms are rustic and have character. The miss parts are details that lessen the feeling of luxury and bring the value for money ratio out of sync.

Terrible experience at this hotel. The room did not match the photos shown at the time of booking at all. It felt like the Harry Potter cupboard under the stairs. The booking promised a balcony or a scenic view. There was no balcony, and the view was far from scenic. Instead, it overlooked the entrance area where people sat and loudly discussed their business all the time. This was not at all what we expected to see, and there was nothing scenic about it. We asked for a room change and were given a different room, but it was a downgrade from our original booking. However, as I understand it, we were charged according to the original reservation. When we checked in, we were informed that breakfast was served until 11:30 AM, and check-out was at 11 AM. We asked for confirmation because it seemed odd, and they confirmed these times. The next morning, we arrived for breakfast at 10:50 AM, only to be told that breakfast had ended at 11 AM. Although we arrived before 11, they offered us bread and eggs. The restaurant was already being cleaned and vacuumed, which made eating bread and eggs under such noisy conditions very unappealing. Overall, it was a terrible experience at this hotel. Additionally, in the morning, you can hear the cleaning staff loudly talking across the entire floor. They responded on booking that we were offered a delicious à la carte breakfast, but it was like “I can make bread and eggs for you”, but nothing else. They responded on Google that we have never been there, but it’s fake. I have proofs and the property just doesn’t take responsibility for their bad service
