The Omni Grove Park Inn - Asheville

Great service on the club level. John, Kristie, Tim, Mark and Ben were welcoming and provided excellent service.

Great location back up in the hills with the old back in the day feel. Rooms was just the right sizes for the 2 of us. The rooms were very clean and we overlooked the 18th hole tee off great view for the price. The lobby was a story from the Past, people talking, laughter and the panino playing and drink glasses kinking was Great. Love to come back at Christmas time to see all the lights!!!

We had a nice stay, and found the facilities, service, property and view to be very good. There is construction happening as of May 2026 so be alert to that. We booked a Mountain View room at the lower end of their price range. We actually had a “Tree View” of a massive tree 30 feet from our window. You could have a view of the mountains and sunset if you stood at the left side of the windows and looked down the fairway. At these prices we expected an actual Mountain View. The room was comfortable but dated and has seen a lot of use. As an hotel room the Omni is expensive and not a great value, but the price is not out of line for a resort. If your intention is to stay on the property and have a resort experience then I think there is value. If you just want a luxury hotel room you can do much better for a fraction of the price. Also, be sure to look at taxes and fees. You will pay state and county tax on the room as well as the resort services charge. You pay that charge regardless of the services you use. That is about $100 per night on a $500 room. That’s not unique to the Omni but still it adds up. The staff were uniformly professional so I want to be clear that we were treated well. But beyond that the facilities were just not up to the standard considering an entry level room cost the better part of two grand for three nights. That is a lot of expensive ambience

My wife fell in love with this resort. Lots of on site restaurants. Very nice spa. The inside pools of the spa are wild. Lots of rock. Great view from our room of the city but there was scaffolding. There was some upkeep going on.

What a wonderful Resort! The hotel, spa, and grounds are lovely. The customer service is excellent. This is our 2nd trip & we will be back!

I arrived at the hotel to spend my first anniversary with my wife. We could only stay one night because we have a 2-month-old baby waiting for us at home. With all that in mind, here is my experience. When I arrived, everything looked nice, and I thought it was going to be an amazing experience. It turned out that no one gave me my welcome drinks, even though it was my first time staying there—but that’s something minor. After spending some time in the lobby, the power went out. A hotel worth millions of dollars doesn’t have a generator to restore electricity? They handed out flashlights to everyone. Because of that, I couldn’t book the spa, and my dinner reservation with a mountain view at Edinson was canceled since there was no power. I had to go out into the city to find something to eat after driving 4 hours to get there. As for the room, the bed is comfortable, but the TV is almost black and white—it doesn’t have Netflix or YouTube, even in 2026. At least buy a Fire TV and connect it if you don’t want to get a smart TV. The only option was Chromecast, where you could stream from your phone. Honestly, terrible. The next day, I went to use the pool, which I had been told was open. When I got there, they didn’t let me use it. I had to wait about 40 minutes because a group of 70-year-olds had a water aerobics class in the pool. If I had to rate my experience from 1 to 10, I would give it a 0. I was deciding between this hotel and a Caribbean cruise—I should have chosen the cruise. I would never come back

I think the Grove Park Inn is beautiful! The staff was incredible. I understand how the rooms may leave something to be desired in the original area- but this goes beyond my level of understanding Staying in the original area… I knew the room would be smaller - however I never imagined that to use the toilet I would have to bend down and hold onto something because of the slope with the roof. If you are man, you would never be able to use it. I had unpacked my clothes before I went in the bathroom and discovered the challenge. This is a room that should not be rented out- or if it is with a disclosure about the bathroom

We love staying here, the atmosphere is so relaxing in the hotel and the spa. The views from the rooms are beautiful and peaceful, my wife loved to just sit by the window and read while i was golfing. The course is in great condition and the onsite restaurants allow you not to even have to leave the resort. Very easy check-in and checkout. Staff everywhere that is very helpful.
