Tru by Hilton Asheville Blue Ridge Parkway

Very clean and modern. Our room was as described & matched the photos. The smell in the room/hotel was very pleasant. Front desk was helpful with extending our reservation. Pool table and gathering area in the lobby. Free all day tea & coffee. Huge selection of drinks & food for sale. We did’t use the pool, but others did & seemed happy with it.

The Tru was clean and rooms tidy. That’s most important. But with most these chains, the breakfast is like cardboard, except the grits, which were watery, and a food most the country doesn’t eat. Plus, the juice machine was broken and they offered some bottles that became somewhat unsanitary, and no water! I could buy it or get it from the drinking fountain. I finally insisted and she gave me a bottle. And then a yogurt machine with only the hotel’s flavor choice. The afternoon desk clerk was friendly, the morning clerk not so much.

The pool is small , closed, and on parking lot. The room it self was basic and nice. The common areas were clean, new and well designer. Breakfast was good.

The facility is very clean and the bed was comfortable. Our group spent time in the lobby lounge area which had a pool table and large comfortable seating for socializing. We would stay at a Tru hotel again.

Housekeeping issue. Sheets sticky at bottom and floor towel for shower was thrown on sink

We enjoyed our stay very much. Upon our late-night arrival, we were greeted at the front desk with a smile and bottles of water. The room was immaculately clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a nice treat; we especially enjoyed the pancakes! This hotel is a great value and is conveniently located just off I-40. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

The linens were excellent in the bathroom, but the amenities were minimal.
