This is definitely the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Penang; it's flawless in every way- including facilities, comfort, service and hospitality, and, above all- food and beverages at Cinnamon Asian Kitchen and Javana Lounge! Along with a magnificent view and a very cosy room with lovely amenities, the staff are welcoming, helpful, and attentive. 10/10 ⭐️

Excellent Family Experience at Parkroyal Penang Resort
Our recent stay at Parkroyal Penang Resort was truly enjoyable and memorable. From the moment we arrived, every staff member — from the parking guards and bellmen to the café, restaurant, pool, and housekeeping teams — was genuinely friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
Special thanks to Ms. Elita and Ms. Hema for their warm hospitality during check-in and clear explanation about the resort facilities. Appreciation also to Ku Irham, who patiently showed us several room options and helped us choose the most suitable one for our family. The view from our room was lovely — I could watch my child playing in the pool below and still enjoy a nice beach view.
Grateful to Mr. Alfizan, the bellman, for his kind help with our luggage, and to the Chinese housekeeping lady (Level 2 near the kids’ pool) for her thoughtful reminder to keep our balcony door closed when monkeys were around — such great attention to detail!
We also truly appreciated the complimentary birthday cake for my wife. It was a wonderful gesture that made our stay extra special.
Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, room was clean and cool, and the atmosphere throughout the resort was relaxing and family-friendly.
Highly recommended for families looking for a warm and welcoming beach resort in Penang. We’ll definitely come back again!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at PARKROYAL Penang! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The service was excellent, and the entire team—from the front desk to housekeeping was professional, warm, and attentive.
I surprised my husband with a birthday treat during our stay, and the hotel team made it extra special by sending the birthday surprise after we returned from the pool, which was such a thoughtful touch. My husband also planned to surprise me for our anniversary, and although the swan decoration on the bed was set up after we arrived, I truly appreciated the effort it was romantic and made the moment unforgettable.
The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious great variety, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. The dining experience at Cinnamon Restaurant was made even better by the warm hospitality from Nadia, Hidayah, and the entire team. Special thanks to Zeyati, our room service staff, for her kindness and attention to detail, and to the bellman who helped us with our bags so efficiently.
A big shoutout to the two amazing crew members at the Kids Club (sorry forget their name but i have picture of them) they were so attentive and caring with the children. My kids absolutely loved them, and their warmth made a big difference in our stay. We truly appreciate their effort and energy!
The room was clean and spacious, the facilities were top-notch, and the beach access was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hospitality shown by the crew and team was beyond expectations. Everything was excellent, and I truly appreciate the care and attention from everyone at PARKROYAL Penang. We’ll definitely come back again!

The breakfast had a great variety of choices, but some of the food was not really hot. The fried items, in particular, were bad and hard to chew. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. However, the toilet had a very bad smell that’s hard to describe — it was unpleasant and affected the overall experience.

Lovely staycation. I have wonderful trip with my husband and boys. Celebrating boys birthday with parkroyal dedicated cakes and compliments drinks. Facilities and room cleanliness is really good. Breakie choices variety and kids love it so much 🎈🎈

Everything is fine. The staff are friendly. However, check in took me 20mins although just one guest in front of me while checking in. Breakfast has lot of variety and offered fresh watermelon , celery or cucumber juice. The housekeeping is so nice which gave us lot of water bottles. Overall, worth to spend your time over here.
