SKIP IT I’ve been coming to The Beverly Hills Hotel for a little while now because it used to feel like pure magic. Every detail was thoughtful and every stay felt special. Unfortunately, that magic seems to be fading. The bedding, which was once one of the best parts of the experience, now feels cheap and outdated. The duvet is paper thin, the pillows are flat, and the comfort level is nothing like it used to be. I even tried calling to get new bedding but after waiting so long and being transferred around, I finally just gave up. Service overall has slipped dramatically. It takes 20 to 30 minutes to get a response, even after multiple calls, whether you’re asking for basic amenities or trying to get room service trays picked up. Small details that made this place iconic like the branded key cards and attention to detail have completely disappeared. Everything feels stripped down and generic now. There’s also construction everywhere, which ruins the peaceful atmosphere. Yet despite all of this, they’ve added a mandatory 20 percent service fee even as the service itself has sharply declined. I used to come here to unwind and recharge, but sadly, The Beverly Hills Hotel no longer feels luxurious or special. Until the renovations are done and the service improves, I’d recommend staying somewhere else.

The Beverly Hills Hotel is a very special place. Elegant, calm, friendly, comfortable, peaceful. The incredible beauty starts with the lobby, which is simply stunning. During our three day stay we ate exclusively at the Polo Lounge for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Why go anywhere else? Steak and eggs for breakfast one day, Belgian waffle the next (and Star Wars creator George Lucas and his wife at a nearby table). For lunch or dinner I recommend The Beverly Hills Seafood salad. Lobster, crab, shrimp, avocado, deviled egg slices and more. We could use the pool this trip because it was too cold, but I know from past trips it is a special place. I will always return, hopefully soon and hopefully often. It is Heaven on Earth in every respect.

Unfortunately my stay here last week was not good at all. Starting with the front desk lady being rude and unwelcoming to the room service and restaurant service being slow. I still love the rooms and hotel. This was my 3rd time staying here. The staff needs to smile and hustle a bit.

My two-night stay was simply outstanding! Iconic landmark hotel. Customer service was excellent and very friendly! The attention to detail was perfect. In no particular order, I wish to profusely thank Mr. Randy Burton, Mr. Franck Provost, Jose' and Ms. Reese for welcoming me. I highly, highly recommend this hotel!

Some places just have that feeling. When you step onto the pink-and-green grounds of The Beverly Hills Hotel, you know you’ve arrived somewhere magical. This place feels like home. From the second you walk through the doors, the staff makes you feel like family. They remember your name, your favorite table at the Polo Lounge, and how you like your morning coffee. There’s something deeply comforting about it—like they’re truly happy you’re there, not just because it’s their job, but because they genuinely love this place as much as you do. If you can swing it, you have to stay in one of the bungalows. Tucked away from the main hotel, each one feels like its own little private paradise. The history here is palpable. One of the hotel’s most unexpected joys? The dogs. Everywhere. They lounge at their owners’ feet in the Polo Lounge, take slow morning strolls through the lush pathways, and somehow seem to understand they are part of something truly special. Honestly, it makes the whole experience even better. It’s hard to put into words exactly why The Beverly Hills Hotel is so special. Yes, it’s stunning. Yes, it’s historic. Yes, the service is flawless. But beyond all that, it just has this energy—this warmth, this magic—that makes you feel like you’re part of something bigger. Maybe it’s the staff, maybe it’s the history, maybe it’s the fact that every single guest seems to be in the best mood of their lives. Go for it. You won't regret it.
