Wanted to give this hotel 5 stars but couldn't as a few niggles at breakfast, stopped it from being "Excellent", however it was a lovely hotel and a lovely stay so I would give it a 4.5 stars rating and will definitely be returning. Booked a two night break through "Secret Escapes" for B & B for a great rate and then our daughter and son-in-law wanted to join us at the last minute so we called up the hotel on the off chance that there was a room. Spoke to "Ally" who was very nice, I explained that we had booked through Secret Escapes and she agreed to match the B & B rate for our daughter and also offered a King room with a "Partial" sea view and balcony, plus as we were booking direct for them, they got 1 hour free in the spa - a great deal. Would advise everyone who finds a good package to call direct to check to see if hotel can match, as you get extras and advice on a nice room. Great customer service before we even got there. The hotel is on a corner and so most of the rooms facing the front parking area and road, get a partial see view, which is nice. Road can be a little noisy at times if you want your windows open, but as I am not a light sleeper this did not bother me. We were given a lovely room facing the road, with a very large balcony and it was labelled as a "partial sea view" when in fact out on the balcony you could see a great view of the sea. Two comfortable outside chairs on the balcony to enjoy the view or a cup of tea. Room was lovely, very well laid out and facilities were well thought out. Very comfortable King bed, great lighting features on headboard for reading and turning off lights at night in bed. Dressing/vanity table and small pouffe with a full length mirror behind, doubled as the tea/coffee table with a small drawer holding the tea bags, coffee sachets and biscuits etc. Plug and Usb charger on side of dressing table, small round table and chair to sit at and a comfy armchair on the other side of the room. Wardrobe held a portable fan, safe large enough for a laptop and a hairdryer in the drawer. Flat screen TV was mounted on the wall opposite the bed for great viewing. Great large shower room, loved the terracotta/orange decor of the room which followed through to the little coloured flecks in the floor tiles in the shower room, very modern. We were on the first floor up a flight of stairs, the hotel does not appear to have a lift which could be hard for some people. Ground floor below our balcony were rooms with their own garden patios, enclosed, looked great for dog owners. Reception staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly with a lovely smile, did not get the name of the lovely lady who checked both ourselves and our daughter in on the Friday afternoon and checked us out, but she was lovely. Our daughter and son-in-law had an equally lovely room with balcony and sea view. Breakfast had a good selection of continental to start with, smoked salmon, cheese and ham slices, danish pastries, fresh bread, cer

Such wonderful and personalised customer service. Bilal went above and beyond to create a creamy Cocktail masterpiece for me that wasn't on the menu. Bilal made me feel like I was the only customer in the hotel.

I want to be fair in this review: the hotel itself is beautiful, and it is such a shame we couldn’t stay. However, the more I think about the room we were given, the more upset I am that it is even allowed to be offered as dog-friendly accommodation. We booked during a heatwave (temperatures exceeding 30°C), only to find our room was an absolute furnace. While I acknowledge that air conditioning is not explicitly listed on their website, a "dog-friendly" room with zero windows and only a sliding door is a severe safety hazard in the summer. Leaving the sliding door open overnight for ventilation was a major security risk, meaning we had no safe way to cool the room. When we raised this, the reception's response was incredibly disappointing. We were told we "should have called ahead" to request AC. However, I had already emailed twice prior to our stay to confirm our dog’s booking. The hotel had ample opportunity to warn us that their dog-friendly rooms lacked ventilation, especially given the extreme weather. Instead of offering a real solution like moving us to a cooler room or coming to assess the situation the staff simply gave us two ineffective fans. With two people and a dog in a stifling room, the temperature was only going to rise overnight especially because we couldn’t have the door open. Everyone knows the dangers of leaving a dog in a hot car; leaving a pet in a windowless, unventilated room in 30°C heat is no different. I don't want to point fingers, but the danger to our pet was very real. We felt we had no choice but to leave for our dog’s safety. If you are traveling with pets, please be aware that the dog-friendly rooms here are not safe during the warmer months.

Started our visit with some time in the outdoor spa, the weather was perfect, we had a lovely time with great views, hot tub was excellent, we even braved the chill tub. We had lunch booked for 1:30, we were shown to a lovely table in front of the outdoor bar with doors open for a breeze, I’ve been a few times for lunch and a dinner here, service although friendly is disjointed, no one owns a section so tables are left waiting to order and having to ask staff to come over, we noticed this a lot, we ordered our food inc starters for my friend and asked for it to all come out together as it was her lunch, no that didn’t happen, we had to wait around 15 mins after she got hers, our food was delicious and plenty of it, we then had to find someone to order a dessert just 1 lemon tart, it took near on 30 mins to arrive ridiculous and the restaurant was pretty empty by this point, we saw a manager wandering around but not really keeping an eye on what was going on, a lot of the time staff gathered at the till point, I’ve pointed this out before, staff need their own areas and things would run much smoother, some staff couldn’t even take an order, really! They are just their to carry plates seems odd to me. Anyway we had a lovely time for my friends birthday she received a free glass of Prosecco which was lovely thank you.
