The hotel is located halfway up the mountain beside Lake Windermere, with a view of the lake. The whole villa is very beautiful and the service is very good. The room was heated and not very cold. It is worth staying a few more days next time.

The hotel is good overall, but the lawn outside is not as big as in the picture. It takes 20 minutes to walk down the mountain from the hotel. Bowness town is at the bottom of the mountain, and you can take a boat. It is better to take a taxi back at night. Once, there was no street light on the second half of the way back, and I felt the "dark night". The names of the hotel rooms are named after the towns in the lake area, which is quite interesting. The hotel includes breakfast (Ctrip shows that it does not, but it is actually included in the local area), and the dinner I ordered later was also delicious and exquisite.

My friends and I stayed at Lindeth Fell Country House for one night. What a beautiful hotel in an idyllic setting, which has a small lake with white and pink water lilies, beautiful landscape gardens, and a terrace that has amazing views of Lake Windermere. Our bedroom was spotless and very luxurious. The attention to detail blew us away. Julian (the manager) and his team were attentive and on hand at every opportunity. We booked our evening meal in the restaurant, and the menu offered a comprehensive choice for starters, mains, and desserts. The food was exceptional. Breakfast the next day was amazing, also.

Enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay recently. Wonderful hotel in a beautiful location. Open fires and comfortable spotless bedrooms. Excellent food in the restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. They even posted back my walking boots, which I had left in error! We have stayed previously and will definitely be coming back.

Beautifully located, LF retains its charming family home atmosphere, with welcoming open fires. We stayed for 2 nights, and were wonderfully well looked after by Julian, Alex, Cathy and their team; nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant had a small but delightful menu and everything that we ate was extremely good. Very comfortable bed, and the room was very clean and tidy. Will definitely be returning.
