CLLIX Brisbane Skytower Apartments

First of all, I'd like to thank Trip.com for their proactive follow-up and feedback. This hotel really isn't suitable; the actual room condition is poor and too old, not matching the photos online. We waited almost twenty minutes to check in because the front desk staff kept chatting with a guest. That guest was also strange, as their card had insufficient funds and the hotel doesn't accept cash, so they just kept talking... After we checked in, we found that the living room and two of our rooms were right next to a building under construction, really close by. Then, on the other side, they were digging a foundation. We requested a room change. The new room was at least not next to a construction site, but the foundation digging started before 7 AM every morning. Let's talk about parking next. You won't figure it out without spending some time on it. No matter how much the front desk explains, you won't get it right the first time. The cost is also expensive at $45 a day. You first drive into the adjacent Apollo parking lot, go down to levels 5-8, and find their hotel's marked parking spots. Many of them are occupied, and you can't just park anywhere, or you'll get towed. Once you find a spot, you take one elevator, go down to P8, then get out and take another guest elevator to your floor. Every time you want to get your car, it involves two elevators and a maze-like search for your vehicle. Anyway, it's not easy. Finally, when we booked the room, we mentioned we had a child and needed a quiet room. They received the information, but still gave us such a noisy room, which I don't quite understand. After we checked in... we found there was no internet. The hotel staff said the service provider was doing maintenance and didn't know when it would be fixed. Luckily, it was working the next day.

This hotel apartment was better than I expected. It was clean, and we were given a room directly facing the river with an excellent view, and you could even see the sea in the distance. It was well-equipped with cutlery, cooking utensils, a stove, oven, microwave, and washing machine. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be to add another oven mitt. Only the top shower head worked well; the other one seemed broken as its angle couldn't be adjusted at all. The location was also excellent, with plenty of food options nearby.

The hotel's location and views are excellent; however, we found bloodstains on the sheets, the shower pressure was very weak, and the hot water was not very consistent.

The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the city center. It has cooking facilities, making it suitable for family trips.

Traveling as a family of four, this hotel apartment was perfect for us. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was so convenient, and the living room was quite spacious. The cleanliness was generally good, though the carpet was a bit dirty. The views were beautiful, and the hotel's location was excellent, making it easy to get around. The underground parking took some getting used to; it felt a bit disorganized, and we could only park in designated spots with the hotel's logo, which were quite small. After parking, finding the elevator was a challenge as many areas were cordoned off, seemingly due to ongoing construction. However, overall, it was still a great stay. The 24-hour front desk made our late-night check-in very smooth, and the staff were all very nice.

I was really looking forward to staying in Brisbane's tallest apartment building, hoping for panoramic views of the city. Instead, I got a low-floor room on the 20th level, room 09, which faced directly onto another residential building. It had nothing going for it, totally ruined my mood, and I even forgot to take photos. Remember, rooms 01 and 16 have the best orientation, while 08 and 09 are the worst. Keep that in mind if you plan to stay here. The room size was decent, but there's no room service. That's about it.

Excellent location! This apartment is superb, conveniently located near Queen Street and the Botanic Gardens, and within walking distance to South Bank. The room was clean and spacious, equipped with a washer and dryer, and a very well-appointed kitchen. They even provided two cleaning tabs for both dishwasher and hand washing (you can ask the front desk for more). A minor letdown was the absence of salt and pepper, which usually comes standard in self-catering apartments. Other minor issues were slow internet and significant limescale buildup in the kettle. However, overall, it offers great value for money. Contrary to some other reviews, there *is* a cleaning service; they do a light clean every 5 days, replenishing fresh towels, plastic bags, laundry sheets, and dishwashing tabs.
