Emerald Hotel & Suites Calgary Airport

Emerald hotel was horrible, their service is so poor. But trip.com helped us and solved the issues we faced. The emerald hotel management need to work more professionally. Me and my husband had rashes all over the body with itchiness but they were blaming us for that, like 'May be you should change the shirt' but they won't change the in first hand. After complaining to trip.com they immidiately changed our room, also we said we will complain to the alberta health for not looking into hygiene, there were blood stains all around the sofa we had and on the bed frames, we called a staff and showed it. Very very upset with the front desk service from the night shift crew. But trip.com was really awesome and they took time to listen our problems and solved it, Thanks to trip.com, a big ROAST to Emerald, never ever we will go there.

Its worst experience of my life room are dirty smells like **** even lights are not working i need ny refund m too tired after 12 hours drive i reached there saw this

The property was very nice. Staffs were friendly and professional and they have the problem solving ability. There is a Halal Restaurant situated in the hotel itself. The Lady was so professional working at the evening shift. Thanks a lot for the services

Again, the price should probably give it away! Nothing fancy, very basic bed and shower service. The room set up, towel arrangement and all could be better, that’s something that cost nothing but helps. Wall is thin, you can hear sounds from other rooms. Didn’t have any complaints.

I forgot I had booked the room and neither the hotel nor trip sent advisories so I paid for a room for nothing. My fault for forgetting, but other hotels and ******* send emails advising of upcoming room nights. 

There was no water in the vending machine. No napkins in the room

It says non- smoking rooms but not the room I got. I called front desk complained about it and they just sent a staff to being me air freshener which I didn’t use because i have allergies. The smell of cigar triggered my migraine, the smell sticked to my clothes and hair, blankets and pillows smells cigar even the washroom. I had to get out of my room early the following day and wait for 2 hours at the front desk and wait for my service car to pick me up.

They advertise it as hotel but it’s actually a motel, not a hotel and virtually all of the motels I have seen are nicer.  Sink was blocked, shower was skotch-taped, the pillows were lumped and one of them was stained, the mattress was very uncomfortable….. I think the front desk made effort to be nice and there were some renovations going on but currently - chose something else
