Hotel Canandaigua, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Clean rooms,  ice location and beautiful views.

We picked the hotel for its location, it overlooks the lake and has great views. The room is decent. They could have a better ventilation, as it gets pretty suffocated especially when the windows are closed. Breakfast service was very slow. There were only two people managing a full house. Gym is decent. The hotel staff is friendly. Food is decent. They could do better with the complimentary coffee they provide in the lobby in mornings.

Hotel was a great value for the money. Clean, large rooms, good bar and restaurant. Food was great too with friendly and very courteous staff.

Beautiful hotel on the lake. Very clean and housekeeping is dependable and on point. Spacious room, although some wasted space. Pool is heated but could be a bit warmer. All of the staff is very friendly and professional. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars is management and/ or ownership. They do this staff no favors in not having enough staff on site. One person is the evenings at the front desk. No housekeeping on site after certain hours. We asked for more towels and the front desk associate has to put a sign on desk "be right back" and bring the towels themselves. Hotel is staffed as if it is a Hilton Garden Inn.

We had a one day stay at the Hotel Canandaigua and we had a wonderful stay. We were on our way to Niagra and found it a perfect stop between NJ and our destination. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I want to thank Nicholle (spelling) for providing the extra effort in getting our daughter milk for her morning cereal. Aggghhhh, my daughter is a beast without her Cheerios. All in all, I highly recommend the Hotel Canandaigua, beautiful location to spend the night.

As a returning guest, I already knew how lovely Hotel Canandaigua and its beautiful surroundings are, but this birthday weekend stay exceeded every expectation. ​Check-in was seamless—our room was ready well before the standard arrival time and was spotlessly clean. The food throughout the trip was exceptional; dinner at The Cove was spot-on, and breakfast was consistently delicious every single morning. ​Even with two weddings filling the property with energy and hustle, the service never faltered. The true standout of our stay, however, was Laura at the bar. She was pure sunshine and an exceptional host who made me feel incredibly welcomed and appreciated. ​Thank you for another memorable stay—I can't wait to return!

We stayed here for 4 days this past week in August for a vacation. The property is beautifully landscaped and well maintained inside and out. When you first walk in, you enter a well appointed lobby that is modern and elegant with a lakeside charm. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean and we loved the shower, it is big and modern! The amenities offered such as an outdoor pool, hot tub, firepit and two restaurants are wonderful. And finally, the setting and location right on the lake is spectacular. The views at sunset sitting outside at the outdoor casual bar/restaurant can’t be beat! We enjoyed our stay here, despite some of the slow service (at breakfast at The Cove) and checking in due to staffing issues. Dinner at The Cove was excellent with our server Joe and we were entertained by the outdoor band playing that night as well. Overall, it is a beautiful property with a resort -like feel and close to many attractions in town. Definitely recommend it.

Hotel Canadaigua provided a perfect getaway .the grounds are beautifully kept. Our room exceeded our expectations, very nice,comfortable and clean ! At the rate,I would have liked to have had a typical hotel breakfast included. But we did enjoy the breakfast available ,and being served outdoors was lovely. The hotel room was very peaceful ,no outside noise at all.
