Tru by Hilton Cartersville

Facilities were clean, the staff was very personable. The accomdations were very nice. The breakfast okay. If any gaps i would improve with offerings.

We stay there frequently.

What happened to my family is a very unfortunate experience, and I want to make sure no one else goes through this. My husband and son stayed here for a baseball tournament. His team lost, so my husband and son checked out two nights early (we have plane tickets to prove this). My husband and son left the room, went to the front desk and handed in their keys, gave his room number and asked if there was anything else he needed to do. The agent said he was all set, and so they left for the airport. Two days later we noticed our credit card charged the full amount. We called to inquire about it and the agent on the phone said he was actually still checked into the hotel. Obviously a mistake had been made by the agent. My husband was told it would be looked into and he would be contacted in the next day or so. Fast forward a week of repeated attempts by my husband to get a resolution, and the hotel stating they were reviewing cameras, etc, we are now being asked told that since the hotel cannot prove he left, we are being charged for those nights. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! We have plane tickets to show we left. A car rental receipt. Not to mention the fact that they were NOT IN THE HOTEL! As a Hilton Honors member, we are devastated by this. Basically being told we’re lying and are trying to con the hotel out of two nights stay. Please do yourself a favor and stay with a different hotel.

This was a great place to stay!! Right off the interstate, but you would never know it. So quiet and just down the road from a really good place to hike (Pine Mountain). Many places to eat/shop a few miles away. We came up for a sports tournament and this hotel is only two exits north (3.5 miles) of LakePoint Sports Complex. I received my digital key on time, the room was clean and comfortable and the free breakfast was very good each day. If we ever travel to this area again, I would definitely book a stay here!!

The worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel! We waited an hour and 45 minutes before getting into a room. I was given a key to a room only to find a man was occupying that room! No manager in site and no way to contact her. I will never stay in a Tru again!

Tiah Bailey (GM) is an excellent leader and it shows from the top-down! All staff were super friendly & helpful going above and beyond with recommendations and ensuring all needs were met. Welcomed by a friendly smile (Jesikah) at the front desk, service, the property was more than expected!

We couldn't get any movies that were on the guide. The facility needed to be cleaned more thoroughly.
