The hotel is nestled within Sunshine City Tanyue, a tranquil retreat tucked away down winding paths. From its architecture to its interior design, it evokes a sense of a bygone era. The hotel facilities are incredibly thoughtful, addressing almost every small need. The butler service was also very attentive; they added me on WeChat beforehand to provide check-in reminders, weather updates, transportation information, and to coordinate afternoon tea, housekeeping, and check-out arrangements. Breakfast is served on the fourth floor and offers outdoor seating, which is lovely on a cool day. Overall, it was a very interesting hotel experience. Thank you for your hospitality!

I found out about this hotel through a WeChat official account, and I was pleasantly surprised after checking in. Usually, when I travel for business, I stay at places like Atour. Before this stay, I was a bit worried that the facilities might be old, but after checking in, I found that wasn't the case at all! Not only was my room spacious and comfortable, but the public areas and breakfast were also great! I really loved it! It's rare for me to feel compelled to write a review. Oh, and the hotel offers free travel photography. This time, I worked with photographer Xiao U from Weiyu Travel Photography. She was very patient and easy to communicate with. I tend to feel awkward when taking photos, and she patiently guided me through it.

The software is good, but the hardware is a bit outdated. For example, some areas have peeling or worn paint on the wall corners. However, the service is impeccable. Whether it's the front desk staff or the aunties and uncles taking breakfast orders, everyone was lovely. The WeChat concierge was also very attentive, and their responses were quick and timely – truly excellent! During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the lobby even offered snacks/mooncake tasting in the afternoon. While it's a small gesture, I personally found it a delightful touch. It felt like they genuinely cared about planning the guests' day as if it were their own. Finally, the complimentary luggage delivery service was fantastic and freed up our afternoon itinerary choices. Following the hotel staff's guidance, we directly ordered from 'Golden Assistant' and easily picked up our checked luggage at Changsha South by following the diagram. Very professional.

When I first saw the name 'Xiangjiang Hotel' online, I thought it would be an older, more traditional style of accommodation. However, my stay completely exceeded my expectations. The hotel has a charming retro ambiance, and I found it to be very clean, tidy, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. It's also a great spot for taking photos! What truly stood out was the personalized butler service; it was exceptionally warm and thoughtful. On my first night, I checked in at midnight, and even at 2 AM, customer service was promptly responding to my WeChat messages. For any needs in the room, they'd reply instantly, showing incredible attention to detail and care. The mini-fridge, tea, and toiletries were replenished immediately. After my first night, I extended my stay without hesitation the next day. I'm sure I'll choose to stay here again on my next trip to Changsha.

I was here for a concert, and it was super convenient to get to Helong Stadium with a shared electric scooter. The room was spacious, and the service was very thoughtful. The bathtub came with bath salts and a disposable liner, which was a nice touch, and the shampoo was quite good. Breakfast was decent, and the hotel's design style was also very appealing. They also offered travel photography, but I didn't use it. I saw other guests taking pictures, and it looked quite good. They even have a service to help deliver your luggage to the high-speed rail station and the airport, so you don't have to lug your suitcase around everywhere – super convenient!

Extremely satisfied with this stay! This hotel is truly special, not one of those cookie-cutter establishments, but rather it boasts its own unique style and ambiance, making you feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed. The service was absolutely impeccable; every staff member was so warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. We will definitely be returning with our family next time. Highly recommended!

The Xiangjiang Hotel is an old building steeped in history, carrying the unique historical essence of Changsha. During my stay, it rained continuously for days. Staying in this old building and watching the rain over the Xiangjiang River had a unique charm. The room was clean and tidy, the environment was quiet and elegant, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. The overall experience exceeded my expectations. Traveling alone, I felt very safe staying here, and I highly recommend it. The front desk staff, a few young women and one young man, were all very helpful and considerate.
