Castle Hotel Ocean Flower Island

With over 5,000 rooms and only 200-some parking spaces, it's truly baffling. We couldn't find a single spot, and eventually, everyone just parked haphazardly, leading to total chaos. The room facilities were old and small. Most of the wooden furniture in the room was moldy and rotting due to dampness. Our room even had a connecting door to the next one, which was a strange layout and made us feel uncomfortable. The bedding seemed like it hadn't been used in a long time; my child and I both felt itchy all over after sleeping for one night, and the pillows weren't clean either. Breakfast the next day was even more speechless. For a five-star hotel price, the food options were very limited, and the staff were just zoning out. I told the omelet chef that there was hair in the egg, and she expressionlessly removed the hair and put the egg back into the serving tray. I asked the noodle chef for handmade noodles, not alkaline noodles, and she kept babbling something in an unintelligible and impatient way. Then the omelet chef joined in, and I couldn't understand what dialect they were speaking, but from their expressions, they clearly thought I was annoying. I couldn't eat whatever noodles they gave me because in the end, it was still alkaline noodles. The hotel clearly lacks the capacity to handle high traffic, yet they have so many rooms. The parking, staff, and service capabilities just can't keep up. It's obvious that this isn't an experienced team in charge. As the facilities continue to age, the experience will likely get worse and worse. The island itself is almost entirely unfinished construction, completely vacant.

The host was very responsive, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-designed, offering good privacy and quietness. We had a very pleasant National Day holiday here.

There were so many kids at the hotel, but the butler contacted us promptly to tell us about parking, check-in, and activities. The breakfast and dinner buffets were both good and delicious. The ocean park was just okay. The hotel facilities were all good, the only thing is that the cleaning needs to pay attention to details, there were spider webs on some parts of the walls.

My stay at the Ocean Flower Island Europa Hotel was very satisfying, and I'd especially like to commend Assistant Lobby Manager Junyan. From booking the hotel to checking in, parking the car, and even guiding us to dinner and the wedding garden light show, she was with us every step of the way, sending locations and helpful reminders. She also provided tips and guidance for breakfast the next morning and checking out. I hope the hotel recognizes and promotes such an excellent employee and her valuable practices.

The hotel's location is central to Ocean Flower Island. Its design is grand and unique, with four different themes, making it particularly suitable for family trips. The breakfast is bountiful, and the staggered dining schedule is very reasonable.

Service: The butler, Jin Jing, was very kind. They even gave us Hainan souvenirs when we checked out. Environment: Not bad. The breakfast had a good variety, which I really liked! 😍
