DeRUCCI Hotel (DongGuan BinJiang Stadium Station)

Pros: We got a free room upgrade and it was fabulous. The huge, apartment-like room featured a massage chair, a TV in the living room, one in the bathroom, carpets, and wooden-style flooring. It had smart curtains that can be closed on and off with a button, two Toto smart toilets, a huge shower, and a round bathtub that made our stay unforgettable. The view from the 16th floor is awesome. There's a park across from the hotel and a local bar area called Xiabafan. On the other side, there's a Vanke Mall with a supermarket and some okayish places to eat. What amazed us is that our room's wifi had a VPN on it, which is very unusual in China. Cons: The hotel is not in a fancy area of the city. All the good restaurants are at least 5 km away—a 10-15 minute drive by Didi, but still inconvenient. It is in the Wanjiang district, while everything is either in Nancheng or Dongcheng. When we called the reception and used a translator for Chinese, the person said "yes" to our request, but nothing actually happened. The staff doesn't speak English. Breakfast is edible but not great. Some of the dishes were chicken feet and bones, but there was also sushi, some dim sum, and salads. The coffee is terrible. Bring your own.

This is one of the best hotels ever… good location, good service and best of all they were able to accommodate to our needs! We were trapped here due to typhoon and had to extend the stay but the weather became better and we are able to carry on with our activities so we had to leave earlier. The process our extension of stay without additional costs! That’s what we call service! Recommend all to come stay here if travelling here!

Beautiful hotel and outstanding bed quality, also the size are more wide then normal king size. The cleaning could be improved.

Have a good service and friendly. The hotel have smart home function and also have the massage chair . Importance is they have provided you a good pillow and bed. You will feel comfortable to be sleeping and also have a river front of the hotel.

As good as usual. Staffs are helpful and breakfast is good.
