Amazing memorable experience that is worth to travelled for! Was lucky to snap up the last room on my travel dates. It was refurbished from a palace so there are alot of beauty still well kept within. There is a small pool and a rooftop dining area. Staff were hospitable and always there to help. Directions are well marked but also possible to get lost within.

Для тех, кто планирует посетить Фес, искренне рекомендую Riad Rcif & Spa Originale.
Мы били 12 дней в Марокко: посетили Касабланку, Фес, Шефшауэн, Танжер, Рабат, Марракеш, Уарзазат. И Riad Rcif - с большим отрывом наше лучшее жилье по цене-качеству.
Во-первых, в медине есть много указателей, как к нему дойти.
Во-вторых, в риаде есть все удобства: бассейн, панорамный вид на медину, утюг, внутри номера кондиционер, фен, ванная, холодильник, бумажные салфетки, бутылки с питьевой водой, которые каждый день приносят. Номера очень уютные и атмосферные.
В-третьих, в отличие от других риадов здесь достаточно тихо. Может нам просто повезло, но спать было комфортно, после 22ч вечера никого не было слышно.
В-четвертых, завтраки. Они здесь лучше, чем в других местах: омлет (или яйца вкрутую), очень много разных хлебных изделий, йогурты, сок, чай, кофе и даже фрукты. Если вы хотите больше, вам сготовят больше. Например, мы попросили дополнительную порцию омлета.
В-пятых, персонал. Он не просто хороший, он невероятный! Любая наша прихоть/просьба была исполнена быстро и с максимально трепетным отношением! Персонал говорит по-английски; заселили нас раньше времени, сразу угостили сладостями и чаем; при выселении жене подарили браслет, а один из сотрудников помог донести наши вещи и поймал такси, договорившись с местным, чтоб нас довезли за копейки, и сам ни взял за это и дирхама.
А теперь, красивая и добрая история, почему я решил искренне поделиться информацией об этом риаде.
Так получилось, что мы с женой забыли ее белую кожаную куртку в этом риаде и уехали дальше в Шефшауэн. Владелец риада мне звонил, но русская симка была недоступна. Уже из Шефшауэна я смог связаться с ним, рассказал о наших планах. Он сказал, что куртка будет у нас и сдержал свое слово. Сначала он хотел отправить своего водителя, затем мы решили, что лучше будет оформить доставку в Марракеш, куда мы направлялись к концу недели. Он попросил своего сотрудника отвезти эту куртку и отправить ее к нам, оплатил ему такси до вокзала и обратно, а от нас не взял и дирхама, и даже об этом отзыве писать не просил. Это уже мой душевный порыв.
В общем, куртку мы забрали в Марракеше, жена довольная, а Riad Rcif - это гораздо больше, чем риад, это возможность получить комфорт и марроканское гостеприимство.

I’ve been lucky to stay in some beautiful places, but this riad in Fes truly stands out. From the moment I stepped inside, I was blown away by the ornate architecture—classic Moroccan zellige tiles, carved cedar doors, brass lanterns, and bursts of stained glass lighting that made the whole space feel alive. The staff are exceptional. Every interaction felt warm and genuine—from helping me plan my day to bringing coffee just when I needed it most . They even arranged one of the hoteliers, Abdul, to explore the city beyond the medina during Friday prayers. That tour was one of the most enlightening of my entire trip—deep dives into Jewish and Islamic history, a synagogue visit, and a stop at a historic animal hospital built in the 1940s. The indoor pool was a personal highlight. Peaceful, elegant, and full of character—with bronze lions, marble fountains, and beautifully tiled walls. A serene escape from the heat. My room was spacious and quiet, and I’ll never forget waking up from a nap as sunlight poured through the stained-glass windows, casting colored shadows across the walls and my sun-bleached beard. Pure magic. In short, this isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s a living storybook. The riad is full of soul, and I’ll be thinking about this stay for a long, long time. Highly recommended. Abdul, was exceptional. All the staff was beyond accommodating and I’m sincerely grateful for their warm welcome to Morocco

I stayed at Riad Rcif Alif Suite and Spa for a few nights and ended up really enjoying my time there. I had read some comments about the management before arriving, so I was curious what to expect. The owner does have a strong personality, but I liked him. He knows a lot about the city and clearly wants guests to have a good stay. I never felt anything but helpfulness from him. The riad itself is gorgeous. The tilework and details in the common areas are impressive, and my room was clean and comfortable. I happened to get sick one evening, and I was honestly thankful to be somewhere quiet and relaxing while I recovered. The location worked well for me. If you have not been to Fez before, you should expect people in the streets offering to guide you or point you somewhere you did not ask to go. It is just part of being in the Medina. I like walking, so getting to the Blue Gate and the main areas was no problem once I figured out a few routes. Breakfast was one of the highlights. It was a big spread, very good, and the man who serves it is genuinely friendly. The riad does offer laundry service. It is convenient, but it is pricey and my clothes came back without being folded, so something to keep in mind. I ate dinner at the upstairs restaurant one night. It was fine, not great. My vegetarian tagine had a few cold vegetables, but I was not feeling well enough to go out, so having something on site helped. In the end, I gave this place five stars because I liked staying here. The staff were kind when I was not feeling my best, I appreciated the owner, and the building itself is beautiful. All of that made my stay a good one.
