Regal Airport Hotel

Everything was great, very convenient. The environment was better than I expected. Come and stay here! Free shuttle bus service between Regal Airport Hotel, Regala Skycity Hotel, and Tung Chung MTR Station Exit A (seats are first-come, first-served): It was all very good. It's spacious and convenient for getting to and from the airport. The lobby is beautiful, and the hotel is very large.

Really good and very comfortable stay. Being right at the airport makes it super convenient, and taxis can drop you off right at the front door! Excellent value for money. Plus, the buffet at this airport hotel has a huge variety of options.

The room was extremely bare-bones. There were no outlets by the nightstand at all; the only one was on the desk, and only one of its ports actually worked. Luckily, I brought an extension cord/multi-plug adapter. The walls were filthy. The shower water kept fluctuating between freezing cold and scalding hot—it was hot enough to burn you, making showering an agonizing cycle of hot and cold. The room had a 'master control panel,' but only the AC could be adjusted from it; I had to turn off all the lights manually. If I hadn't had an early flight to catch and had already unpacked my luggage, I would have packed up and left. Paying over 600 RMB for this is worse than staying at a budget motel. I will never stay here again.

The room was clean and tidy. As a transit hotel, it's just a few minutes' walk from the airport. They also offer a free shuttle bus to Tung Chung MTR Station on the hour, which is very convenient for guests.

The only advantage is direct access to the airport; you don't have to worry about getting wet walking through the covered walkway to the terminal. Other drawbacks include, but are not limited to: 1. The rooms need urgent renovation. Not only is the decor outdated, but there's a strong musty smell as soon as you enter. 2. The hotel corridors are dimly lit like a maze; if you've seen the movie 'The Shining,' you'll understand what I mean. 3. There are so few power outlets, and only British-style large plugs plus old USB ports. For a place like Hong Kong International Airport, which welcomes travelers from all over the world, this is even worse than a Hanting Hotel. Anyway, as the only hotel with direct access to Hong Kong International Airport terminal, the Regal Hotel offers unparalleled convenience. Their attitude is basically 'take it or leave it.' For those arriving late on a connecting flight or needing to catch an early flight, it's an acceptable place to crash for a night.
