Pine Bungalows

Our first visit to Canada and our first stop was 3 nights in Jasper. We stayed at the excellent Pine Bungalows which is 5 minutes drive outside Jasper in a fantastic location right on the river. We stayed in the lodge and had a lovely room on the second floor with a great balcony view out over the woodland. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and the smell of burning wood from the fire pit where residents sit and socialise in the evenings. The staff are super friendly and the food in the restaurant is superb. Some really interesting choices on the menu which the staff talked us through. Love trying new meals. All in all an excellent base to explore the many beautiful sights around Jasper. Top place

We rented a Chalet for 3 days. The cabin itself is clean. It had 4 bedrooms but only 2 full bathrooms. There were 8 of us so we could have used one for two more bathrooms or even an extra 1/2 bathroom. All of the staff were super friendly. They were willing to provide anything we needed. Got to see some wild which was a plus. Sad to see the devastation caused the fire last year. Apparently this bungalow was spared from the event but damage all around.

We had a fantastic stay at Pine Bungalows in Jasper—a peaceful, cozy retreat just a couple of miles outside the busy downtown area. We originally planned to stay at Tezzerra Lodge, but after it sadly burned down last year, we were fortunate to find Pine Bungalows right across the river, completely untouched. Our cabin was right on the riverbank, offering beautiful views and the calming sound of rushing water. It was well-appointed, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Each cabin has its own firepit, with kindling delivered daily—a lovely touch that made our evenings extra cozy. The location is ideal: close enough to town for convenience but far enough to avoid the crowds and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. We also appreciated the on-site restaurant, which served surprisingly good food If you're visiting Jasper and looking for tranquility, nature, and comfort, Pine Bungalows is a hidden gem that we highly recommend and it is great to support Jasper Businesses recover from the devastating fire that burned down 1/3 of the town.

Perfect place to disconnect. While you could walk everywhere if you stayed in town, the views and wildlife here were much more memorable. You fo need a rental car to get to town but a taxi ride is only $16 cash only. Food was a big plus here. We saw elk, bear and a wolf/coyote. Be smart and walk away. And tons of Marmot

Utterly beautiful riverside location on banks of Athabasca River with delicious dinner and breakfast available at onsite bistro with charming service from young staff. Warm comfortable cabins and welcoming and efficient service at reception desk. Very highly recommended.
