Marrisle Hotel

This is arguably the best hotel in Pegasus Town, and the facilities are indeed top-notch! The lobby's decor, materials, and design are all incredibly high-end. Horse-themed elements are everywhere you look! There are horse head patterns made from inlaid stones on the floor, the chandeliers in the elevator halls are shaped like horseshoes, and the front desk's background wall features a mosaic of galloping horses! Even the cloisonné vase in the lobby depicts an equestrian scene! The rooms are also exceptionally spacious! Their standard twin room is practically a suite at other hotels – it feels like having a room each! There are dual sinks, and the shower and toilet have separate, independent cubicles, which is very convenient. The bathtub is excellent, and you can even watch TV while soaking. There's a heated towel rack, and the toilet is smart. The room's lighting control panel is also advanced, with motion-sensing auto-illumination and control over most lights and curtains! It truly has all the amenities of a five-star hotel at its peak, and it's well-maintained! I'm very satisfied! The swimming pool is also fantastic! The hardware is truly impeccable! Now, about the service: We arrived at the hotel entrance in a Didi (ride-hailing app), and there weren't many guests around at noon. Two staff members in white shirts were standing there as our car pulled up. They didn't even open the door for us! Our reaction upon getting out was to hear the older one say to the younger one, 'You're young, why didn't you open the door?' and the younger one just laughed it off, saying something I couldn't quite catch. Neither of them offered a greeting or any assistance! However, the young ladies at the front desk and inside the lobby were all wonderful, providing excellent greetings and service! Check-in was quick, and all our room requests were met! The hotel's golf carts were also incredibly smooth, taking us to attractions and picking us up after a call. There was just one hiccup when we went to watch the equestrian show in the evening: they really should have provided transportation. The show started at 8:00 PM, with ticket checks from 7:30 PM to 7:55 PM. We arrived at the hotel entrance at 7:35 PM to ask, and they said there were no more golf carts! The equestrian arena isn't that far from the hotel, but with elderly people and children, it's not very convenient! Perhaps they could have a unified announcement at 7:30 PM and send all guests going to the equestrian show together. That would be better for both the hotel and the guests! Listing the shuttle times and the areas they cover would make it even more perfect! I went to check out the swimming pool, and a rather unslim staff member asked, in an unfriendly tone, 'Are you hotel guests?' I've never encountered such an inexplicable greeting before! Thankfully, I replied, 'Of course!' and her tone finally softened. This hotel seriously needs to improve its staff training! Other hotels would politely ask, 'What's your room number?' or 'How can we assist you better?' which indirectly confirms if we're hotel guests, but the attitude and feeling were miles apart here. Later, on our way back to the room from the pool, we did encounter a group of people in suits and ties, who looked like hotel management. Regardless of gender or age, they all greeted us very warmly with a 'Hello!' Their attitudes were excellent! It seems the management themselves are doing a great job, but the staff below them need strict management and training! The wind chimes in the hotel lobby are also a unique and very pleasant feature! Breakfast was also excellent! And the different pillows we requested at night were very good too!

Located in the heart of Pegasus Water City scenic area, the hotel features a grand curved main building with a European-style dome. It looks impressive during the day and is beautifully lit up at night, built right by the water, making it super dreamy. The rooms are spacious and well-laid out. There's also a free shuttle service. Breakfast was just okay though; the congee was cold.
