This place will hold a special place in our hearts forever! I was sobbing as I was walking down to reception to leave and my husband was tearing up as well. We have travelled so many places all over the world and I have to say the staff here were some of the absolute nicest people we have ever met. Need to make special mention of Eric!!! He attended to us while we stayed in our suite and went above and beyond for us in every way! We were crying leaving mainly because we felt like we were now leaving a good friend!! He made our stay so special. Also want to mention Ben who was with us every morning, Yusef, one of the chefs and Hasan, who was the breakfast chef making us special eggs every morning! The resort is beautiful. We had plans to maybe go to stone town or take a boat to a different part of the island but we were so in love with Zuri we never wanted to leave. There were so many things to do that were included like daily yoga and workout twice a day, a garden spice tour on the grounds, movie nights, fire and Maasai shows during sunset and much more. We did the jacuzzi suite which was incredible and half board. We are drinkers and ordered bottles of wine at dinner and drinks during the sunset shows and felt the prices were very reasonable for a 5 star resort. We don’t eat lunch normally so we are happy with the half board choice! Thank you everyone!!! We are already planning our trip back for next year!

A beautiful hotel, excellent food, wonderful location and exemplary staff. Just spent 5 nights here and it was amazing. All the staff were fantastic but Ben & Erick stood out as the most helpful staff we've met for a very long time. They are great ambassadors for the hotel and a credit to themselves for their professional and caring attitude to customers. Stunning white sandy beach with crystal clear water. Would highly recommend. One poor issue. I appreciate this is not a cheap hotel, however when we asked about a late check out, as we were not due to leave till after lunch, we were told it would cost $1000 !! When I declined their offer we were told they could do it for $700. This situation offended me. Firstly, this was still far too much and bartering in such an up market hotel seemed to cheapen our experience. Secondly, the room was obviously available and in most other five star hotels this would have been offered complimentary, or at a sensible nominal cost.

I want to thank everyone in zuri resort I celebrated my birthday and they all was so kind and was an unforgettable day Especially Kulwa, Jumanne, Amir they made my birthday special I also want to thenk rehema the yoga instructor she is amzing I recommend her classes And Bora, hasan in the restaurant are so kind and helpful A for sure i will come back again

Extraordinary bungalow accommodations included a beautiful outdoor shower (as well as indoor) with complete privacy. The private deck included a hammock that was quite restful. The food was abundant and delicious. The buffet is expansive but we preferred to dine near the pool which requires advance reservations. The Zuri Sunsetter experience on the beach was a complete delight.
