Lovely rooms, hotel was nice and clean only downside was the heat in the room. Unbelievably hot but probably my own fault I couldn’t see anywhere to turn it down or off. Went for breakfast the next morning and it was a continental that was included in our price not my thing so we just left. I would recommend. Very friendly in reception.

Myself and my Wife stayed recently We originally booked for 2 nights but we're enjoying ourselves so much that we decided to book a 3rd night. It's good value for money. The Staff are all very polite and helpful. The Food is excellent. The room was very clean, large and comfortable. The hotel is centrally located next to many great bars and restaurants. We will be back. Thank you for a very pleasant time.

We stopped in for a drink as we were dining nearby. Wouldn't bother going back. Service poor and it took a long time to get a drink even though the bar was not busy. A pint and a glass of rosè- almost €20. Plenty better options around.

Having difficulty finding a taxi, we called into hotel and asked Eve at reception for help. Despite the fact we were not residents, she went to great trouble calling several companies. Such obliging service. A great advertisement for the hotel’s standards.

Great location, beautiful welcoming spaces to gather around the lobby and cool bar spaces. Staff was so pleasant and helpful. Our room was a king and was coconut to move about freely. Bed was comfortable. Large bathroom, no plugs, no hot was at the sink one evening. Our room was too warm so we slept with the windows open and it was a peaceful sleep with no noise from town. Breakfast was fine in the morning. I would recommend this as a great place to stay in Kenmare.

I had a previous five star review up here but I deleted it for an updated one. I've stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions my last visit under the New/old owners last week. I went to reception could I book a room? I was given a price which was higher than their website price when I say their website I mean they're direct website so I basically had to sit down and book this hotel in the lobby to get the better price which may I add was still over €250 a night, the rooms haven't changed, breakfast was good but pushing the price limit, Staff don't seem as well trained in the basics as they used to be, but one can overlooked that I suppose, the question is will I go back and spend my harder earned money? I probably need to think twice about it ! It will be nice to see the owners put their own personal stamp on this hotel instead of living off its previous owners reputation for excellence. But maybe they are.

The hospitality of Eileen and Patrick Hanley will be long remembered. This was a second visit for my wife and me, and it did not start off well. These things happen, and they can go one of two ways. The immediate response of our hosts and the sincerity with which they treated us is the hospitality business at its best. You will love this hotel, and you will feel the pride its owners take in it and in the Kennare community.

Went to the landsdowne hotel in kenmare for lunch today, menu was Salmon and Roast Beef, Roast beef could have been cooked more, the food looked like it had been lying for few hours,for €47 was over priced for what you actually get, avoid this place by all cost, we certaintly wont be back, the staff were just ok, nobody came outside to ask us was our meal ok no customer service whatsoever,much better hotels in the area , this one is a no.
