We had an amazing stay at Rushton Hall for our anniversary. The hotel is grand upon arrival, spotless, cosy, and beautifully maintained inside and out. There is so much history! The staff were absolutely fantastic-friendly, attentive, and really made us feel special & welcome. We stayed in the Mrs Medlycott room which was lovely and very well equipped (the TV in the bathroom was such a nice touch!) and the bed was super comfortable. The spa was very relaxing and spotless, and the grounds are perfectly kept-ideal for a peaceful stroll. We also enjoyed the three-course Sunday lunch, which was delicious, and finished the evening with cocktails in the bar, where the barman happily made our special requests! Overall, a perfect stay from start to finish and we wish we could've stayed another night. We can't wait to return again soon. Thank you!!

The staff was the worst we've ever experienced in a hotel. The reception and the doormen were snooty and utterly unhelpful. The price of the hotel rooms were also way overpriced. The rooms don't have any fridge or microwave. The wifi inside the rooms is terrible and you're barely able to connect. The TV cannot connect to streaming services as there is no internet. There's no privacy as you can hear every word from anyone far away in the hallway. The lunch and dinner have very limited options and there's nothing closeby where you can eat or grab food. The fish tartare was cold and the service took way too long as they are short on staff.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful venue. As soon as you enter the driveway it looks magical. There is plenty of parking although the majority of parking is well away from reception. Being in our late 60’s-70’s we struggled with our bags so we decided to drive up to the reception and unload our bags and then one of us would drive the car back to the overflow car park and then walk back to reception. We were greeted warmly by the front of office who went through the housekeeping. We were a little disappointed with our room. Although the room was clean and tidy there were a few stains on the carpet and the bathroom required a fair amount of general maintenance, mould around sealant on bath, shower and sink which could be rectified quite quickly. We ate in the brasserie which was very nice but felt it was overpriced. Wine by the glass again was expensive. There was lots of choice at breakfast which we were able select from. All of the cooked breakfasts were kept warm which doesn’t help the quality of the food as all the warmers were full of condensation. The waiting staff at both breakfast and dinner were amazing. We walked the grounds which were beautifully maintained. I only used the swimming pool which was great and the showers and changing rooms were clean and tidy. Depending on where your room is located you could quite easily get lost as lots of corridors but that’s an old building for you!

Spent a couple of nights at this hotel. First time we have used this hotel and we weren't disappointed. Our room was upgraded because it was our anniversary which was a nice touch and along with the facilities we enjoyed our stay. If I wanted anything improved I would say the pool area is looking tired and the cafe by the pool is a disappointment but this did not detract from the whole experience. My wife had a full body massage and facial which she said was great. The menu did differ from the web which was a challenge for my wife as she does not eat meat and the only item she could eat was fish but I had a fillet steak which was fantastic. The drinks were very reasonable for this type of hotel and the great hall was just a perfect place to end your day. If you're looking for a good pub to go to there is a small pub group which owns the Snooty Fox, Red Loin and Pig & Waffle. All three are within 16 miles of the hotel. We have now tried the Snooty Fox and Red Loin, the Pig & Waffle is next on our things to do plus I believe it's just having a refurb reopening in November. So if you want a couple of nights away in a great hotel that's in a lovely area that has staff who meet your expectations. A hotel that is steeped in history, lovely gardens looked after by head gardener Steven then this hotel is for you.

My husband and I booked the Fine Dining Dinner, Bed and Breakfast package for our 15th Wedding Anniversary. We have stayed over many times since my husband proposed here. I contacted reception two days beforehand to check the time of our dinner reservation, only to be told that the Seven Course Tasting Menu was not available due to a private event. When were you going to tell us Rushton Hall? When we got there? I have since checked their website and the Tresham Restaurant is no longer open on a Wednesday……. We booked this 3 months ago and were very disappointed. However, we were delighted that The French Partridge Hotel and Spa in Horton could accommodate us at such short notice. It was as fabulous as the reviews on TripAdvisor say and we would highly recommend. We are unlikely to return to Rushton Hall, but we most definitely will be returning to The French Partridge!

This is a beautiful venue to stay in and with lovely staff. We booked the tasting menu for dinner and every course was beautiful. The service was prompt and friendly. Breakfast also provided a range of high quality options. The pool was lovely although cold on the first day, it was a lot warmer on the second. We both had massages which were very good. The room had a very comfortable bed but bathroom was not the best. Shower kept stopping and it was a soft drizzle at best. Surrounds of bath were chipped. We had access to a patio area from our bedroom door which initially looked like a bonus but it was not maintained at all and cigarette ends left on the ground. The grounds were very peaceful and lovely for a walk and to see some wildlife. We both felt pampered and relaxed on leaving.

Me and my now Husband , got married at Rushton hall on the 12/09/2025 .It was a dream come true. From the months of planning of our wedding, the regular meetings with Jess and Maddison went smoothly , they made us feel reassured and supported with the plans and ideas that we wanted for our wedding day. The day before our wedding , Dave the concierge helped me to unpack my car with all of my wedding attire. Maddison and a lovely colleague helped me and my sister to decorate the orangery room to how I planned it . The room looked stunning . I then was able to check in and relax with my bridesmaids, with the usage of the beautiful spa at Rushton Hall. On the day , everything went to plan , it was the perfect day ever , the sun was shining , the rooms were decorated and cleaned to the highest speck and the food was delicious. Every single one of our wedding guests thoroughly enjoyed the day. The guests room are stunning , we loved our wedding room, thank you for our bottle of champagne . We can’t wait to go back on our first year anniversary to make full use of your lovely rooms and facilities. I can’t thank the team at Rushton hall enough for all their hard work and support with making our dream wedding into reality. So we would like to say as Mr and Mrs Wright , a big thank you to the entire team that worked on that day , especially to Maddison , Dave and our Toastmaster Alan.
