My family and I booked three rooms, believing this would be the best accommodation during our stay in Kagoshima based on its high review scores. However, we were quite disappointed and felt that the hotel was somewhat overpriced for the experience provided.
The room was quite dark and appeared to lack proper maintenance. For example, there was a small hole in the Japanese paper sliding door and the screen door in the living room, which allowed mosquitoes to enter the room.
What was more concerning was that the private hot spring bath area did not feel kind or safe for elderly guests. There were no anti-slip measures, and the stone-paved path was rather sharp and uncomfortable for my mother-in-law to walk on.
On the positive side, the staff were hospitable, the dinner was delicious, and the hot spring was of good quality.

It's not far from the airport and very quiet at night. The food was good, and the rooms were clean. The hot springs are probably natural, with a faint sulfur smell.
It's best to hire a car or drive yourself, as taxis can be difficult to find after returning to nearby Hayato Station after a day of sightseeing in Kagoshima. One night, we had no choice but to call the hotel owner to pick us up...

A very satisfying trip. The hotel staff were incredibly kind and considerate. One night, we arrived back late, and the staff packed our dinner into lunch boxes. The outdoor private onsen was truly exceptional. I highly recommend it. After dinner, we even had a free fairy wand game—a truly amazing experience.
