That feeling is distinct from hiking up to see the Buddha or taking a boat tour – it's truly worth experiencing. Moreover, Leshan is a paradise for food lovers with an abundance of delicious options. The authentic Leshan Sichuan cuisine, Qiaojiao Beef, and Bobo Chicken are all heavenly delights. It feels like the people of Leshan have perfected these dishes to an art form. Leshan, with its magnificent Buddha, mountains, rivers, and incredible food, is truly captivating. It makes me want to stay here forever.

This hotel is located right in the heart of Leshan's old town. You can see the Leshan Giant Buddha just by crossing the road to the river. We booked a Buddha-view room and indeed, we had a clear view of the Buddha. The environment, cleanliness, and service were all impeccable. I'd say this is probably the best hotel in Leshan. Its predecessor, the Jiazhou Hotel, hosted many national leaders, and there are old photos from that time displayed on the ground floor.

This is arguably the best hotel in Leshan's old town. The rooms, bathrooms, and lobby are all spacious, and the decor has a lovely cultural ambiance. There's a mini-fridge in the room, and the rooftop boasts an observation deck with a telescope, offering a crystal-clear view of the Giant Buddha. Next door, you'll find a popular internet-famous restaurant, and in the evenings, you can enjoy a stroll along the river. Getting to the food street is a breeze – just grab a shared bike. For authentic local eats, head near Walmart; no need to dine exclusively on the food street. Future upgrades like smart toilets and improved showerheads would be a plus. The laundry room hours (7 AM to 9 PM) are a bit inconvenient if you're out late. The city view rooms do have a somewhat 'Libyan' feel, with old buildings from decades ago. However, if you're out and about all day, a river view isn't essential. For those spending more time at the hotel, a river view might be worth it. The hotel's rooftop also offers fantastic views, and their dining sets are reasonably priced – definitely worth trying. The hotel parking lot is quite small; I managed to find a spot, but if you can't, ask the security guard. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, opting for shaomai, tofu pudding, and ka bing from the food street instead. There's just too much good food to try in Leshan!

The hotel's location is excellent, offering views of the confluence of the three rivers. You can even see the Giant Buddha right from your room. They have binoculars available at the breakfast area, allowing you to get a closer look at the majestic Buddha. Good mountains, good water, beautiful Leshan!

I was very satisfied with my stay in Leshan this time; the five-star rating is well-deserved. My first impression was the hardware. To be honest, when I first saw the old-fashioned name 'Jiazhou Hotel,' I was a bit apprehensive, fearing it might be some ancient establishment. However, once I stepped into the room, all my worries disappeared. It must have been recently renovated; all the facilities are incredibly new and well-maintained. It's not just a superficial revamp; it feels genuinely new. The bedding is comfortable, the bathroom works great, and the air conditioning is powerful – it completely meets five-star standards, making for a very reassuring stay. The view is definitely a major plus. The room window directly overlooks the Minjiang River, offering an unobstructed view, and you can even see the Giant Buddha in the distance. Waking up and pulling back the curtains in the morning instantly brightens your mood. I admit, some guesthouses by the river might offer closer or more unique viewing angles, but I researched their hardware extensively, and the difference is significant. Staying there would probably be 'enduring a night for one photo.' All things considered, Jinjiang Jiazhou strikes the best balance. The price is commensurate with the quality, truly living up to its reputation. The breakfast also deserves special praise. Not only is the variety extensive, but they genuinely offer local specialties like sweet crispy duck and steamed beef with rice flour, not just perfunctory group meal options. However, I do have a small suggestion: for hot dishes like sweet crispy duck and steamed beef, it would be great if they could be kept warm with heating equipment, just like the stir-fried dishes. Technically, this shouldn't be difficult to implement. Sometimes, if you go a bit late, these dishes can be a little cold, which affects the taste. If they could be kept warm, the experience would improve significantly. Finally, the location and transportation are also very convenient. It's right by the river, and taking a stroll along the bank after dinner is especially pleasant. If you want to experience the lively atmosphere of food streets like Shangzhongshun and Zhanggongqiao, Leshan city center is small anyway. A taxi ride usually costs the minimum fare, just a few yuan for two or three kilometers, or you can grab a shared e-bike. It's absolutely hassle-free. In summary, if you're visiting Leshan and want a comfortable stay, reliable food, and an enjoyable view, you can't go wrong with this place.

Extremely satisfied with my stay! I originally booked a standard room, but they upgraded me to a river view room for free upon arrival. The room was very clean, and the facilities were brand new. The hotel is right by the river, a great location. The front desk even gave us complimentary breakfast.
