Travelers Inn by OYO Longview Kelso

I stayed in room #211 for two nights. The room had a peculiar smell somewhere between old smoke, barn, and auto grease. As I came out of the bathroom after a shower, in the few steps it took to get clean clothes, the bottoms of my feet were pitch black dirty once again. The shower itself was clean except for the shower head that leaked almost as much as it produced for the shower itself. At least the water was quite hot. The bed was very, very firm. The microwave and mini-fridge did work. The window to the room was bent at the locking mechanism and only secured the room because the lock jammed into the middle bar of the frame beyond the lock latch itself. The location was rather noisy near the main road and from other guests. I did not have restful nights during my stay there. I was expecting more from a OYO owned chain. Stay here if you must. However, I recommend trying somewhere else first.

There was no hot water, we had 3 different rooms and none of the rooms had it. Super frustrating

Staff were welcoming and responsive to a water-supply issue that came up during our stay, but the place is pretty beat-up. Money needs to be spent on plumbing / fixtures. There were poorly done patches all over the bathroom, other signs of damage left unrepaired. Amenities are the bare minimum, and several things simply didn't work. Not the worst place I've ever stayed, but not likely to ever return.

Just don't. We didn't. We stayed 2 hours and left. Didn't even ask for a refund. We were unpacking our car to getin our room when the clerk came out and told us we had been "upgraded" to a King room......because the room we were given had water damage? Upon entering said "upgrade" we noticed the smell. Old gym locker room undercurrent to a strong foot odor. My partner sat on the side of the bed to have the whole thing lift up. Investigating, we found the bed was made up of a handmade, unfinished wood base. The box spring was TWO single mattresses placed together with a three inch gap down the center. Topped with the loudest broken down King matress I have ever experienced. It was actually funny. We had a show to see a couple of blocks down so we went to the show, packed up and drove two hours home.

This was a terrible experience all around for us. The hotel room smelled of cigarettes the second we walked in and the light was broken and hanging halfway off the wall. Further inspection and we saw stains on the mattress, ripped up flooring, a missing hairdryer from the wall along with a towel rack that was missing from the wall? Everything was dirty and gross. We were very disappointed after a long day we just wanted to sleep but we could not stay here after everything we saw there. ******* wasn't helpful with helping us get a refund and the owners that called our hotel room before we left were also not very helpful or concerned about what we experienced. We will never be back there but we do hope they they work on fixing the things we experienced.

Checked in on Thursday had paid online went in on Friday to the office to pay till Monday and was informed Saturday that I owed more money due to their mistake. If I wasn't in a situation I am in I wouldn't have paid on top of it all I got a cold shower my advice do not stay here.

Room was gross. Had to buy my own towels and blankets to use. Left over soap in the shower. Dirty toilet and no trash can anywhere. Upon check in. Nobody was at the desk. Called the number posted on the door and he was over at the next block. I am not fond of this new employee... please bring the older gal back.

This is isn’t an ideal place . The toilet doesn’t even flush no water in the tank
