The hotel facilities are quite old, but it's still considered one of the top-tier hotels in Luxor. The Nile view from the garden is stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset – perfect for photos. It's about a 10-minute walk to Luxor Temple, with plenty of restaurants and shops along the way.

Although it's a 4-star hotel, it has a beautiful garden and a swimming pool right by the Nile, making it perfect for a holiday. It's also very close to Luxor Temple, so you can walk to see the temple at night. We chose the half-board option, and they even changed the restaurant for dinner to offer different types of cuisine, which was a very thoughtful touch.

Avoid this hotel at all costs! It's clearly a hotel that panders to white guests. First off, the hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Luxor Temple, but it's quite a distance from the pier and other attractions. Plus, there's construction going on right outside. My biggest complaint is the attitude of the front desk staff – their service is terrible and incredibly inefficient. I booked for three nights: the first two were for a standard room, and the third was for a Nile view room. They initially told me I’d get a partial Nile view, and then a while later, they claimed they couldn't even find my booking! I had to wrangle with them for two whole days. After dealing with the 'full cast of villains' outside every day, I'd return to the hotel only to have to re-confirm my booking with the front desk, fearing I'd have no place to stay on the third night. The front desk staff offered no solutions whatsoever, repeatedly saying 'no, no.' I then asked how the 'partial Nile view' room they mentioned on the first day came about. Eventually, on the second day, a manager stepped in and sent an email to the supplier. Turns out, the booking was only confirmed that day, but the room I booked was no longer available… they blamed the supplier for making a mistake. Basically, I paid for something I didn't get to enjoy! I even met another Chinese girl in the same situation one day. The front desk proudly displays a 'Ctrip Chinese-friendly' sign, which just feels like a case of 'the lady doth protest too much'! As for the hotel facilities, the rooms are very old. The bathroom's bathtub shockingly doesn't have a drain on the outside, so be careful when showering. The power outlets aren't near the bedside and require an adapter. The most outrageous thing was that there was no duvet in the room, only a thin sheet! After a long wait, they brought a blanket that looked like countless people had used it. The only highlight of this hotel is the breakfast restaurant – the food is abundant and tastes good!

Stayed here with my family. The room wasn't huge, but it was clean. The pool and garden were lovely. Breakfast was decent, and they even provided a packed lunch when we told them we were going on a tour in the morning.

Great location, great views, great service. Highly recommended.

The hotel's location is great, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was clean and tidy, with complete amenities, and the living environment was quiet and comfortable. The staff were polite and attentive, making for a good overall stay. It offers decent value for money and is perfect for a temporary stay while traveling.
