Harbourview Hotel

I got an upgraded sea view room. The room environment was good, relatively clean and hygienic. The only drawback was that the shower gel made my skin very dry and itchy after washing, and there was no body lotion provided in the bathroom. Even after applying my own body lotion, my skin still felt very dry. I suggest changing to another brand of shower gel and providing regular body lotion. Also, there were no cotton swabs for ear cleaning in the bathroom. The facilities were a bit lacking.

The view and location are excellent, but the hygiene needs improvement. The bathroom floor was sticky, and the USB charging port didn't work. Luckily, the staff provided an alternative charger. Breakfast was very mediocre.

Facilities: European-style decor, basically adequate. Service: Excellent service. They upgraded me to a suite, and I could just call for water, which was great. Environment: Located right at Fisherman's Wharf, very convenient. The Sands is just across the street.

Let's start with check-in. When I arrived in the afternoon, the lobby was packed with a tour group, but the front desk didn't open another counter for other guests. Although someone eventually helped out and the front desk was willing to process my check-in, otherwise I would have had to wait an hour. Overall, the service felt average, not particularly attentive. The signs were unclear; I spent a long time looking for the pool, and even calling the front desk from the room phone was a hassle. The biggest issue, though, was a moldy smell in the room. There were no toothbrushes, toothpaste, or combs, so remember to bring your own. The gym and indoor pool met standard expectations, no surprises there. As for the spa, the decor was really tacky and didn't match the hotel at all. However, I must say that the value for money was okay because the price was low on the day of my stay.

The room was clean and hygienic, and the suite I stayed in was spacious. It offered great value for money.

Check-in and check-out were convenient. The luggage storage service was thoughtful. The restaurant environment was elegant. The room was clean. The housekeeping staff responded quickly.

The room type I stayed in this time was really great, and the view from the sea-view window was absolutely superb. All the amenities were well-stocked, even toothbrushes were provided. Next time I come to Macau, I definitely have to stay at Rocks Hotel again!

This hotel offers great value for money. There's a bus stop right outside, making it easier to get to some basic places compared to before. The Fisherman's Wharf was beautiful at night. We had dinner at Thai Kitchen, which is a Thai restaurant by the sea.
