Studio City Hotel

We booked a view room and could actually see both the sea and airplanes! Even though it was a bit in the distance, we were very pleased. The hotel facilities and service were superb—everyone was so warm and welcoming. At the ferry terminal shuttle, an older female staff member saw that I was with a child and insisted on helping me load my suitcase; I really felt bad letting her lift it 😂. When we were leaving and taking the shuttle back to the terminal, the service didn’t drop at all just because our stay was over. As I was switching hands to load my luggage, a sharp, handsome young staff member immediately came over and offered to do it for me. My kid even promised the luggage attendant that we'd stay here again next time we visit Macau 😂😂. The location is also fantastic: there are free shuttles, the LRT station is directly connected to the hotel, and dining, shopping, and entertainment downstairs make everything so convenient. Very satisfied. There’s even a Donki right downstairs!

The room was very clean, and the messages I sent in advance were promptly replied to. They even prepared a small cake for my child's birthday celebration (it was really delicious, I'd love to know where they bought it!)

We brought our child here for their birthday. They gave us two cakes, plus a fruit plate, and the cakes were delicious. The hotel's swimming pool is perfect for kids. We'll definitely come back again.

There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it super convenient to get anywhere. There is a Don Quijote on the first floor, and the room has great views. However, the noise from the outdoor blower/exhaust fan was way too loud. Light sleepers should think twice before booking a tower view room.

The room was decent-sized, more than enough for two people. However, the air conditioning wasn't very effective, and the room cleaning was subpar. Hair from the previous day was still in the shower, indicating the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly. The hairdryer was the worst; it would stop working after about 10 seconds on the first day. I reported it to housekeeping, but they didn't replace it, and it did the same thing on the second day. Am I using it wrong? Having wet hair for two days in a row was really annoying. Also, what's with the half-glass shower design? Water splashes all over the floor. The bathroom ventilation wasn't great either; I couldn't find a switch for it. For reference: The hotel is a bit far from the Venetian Macao shopping mall.

The room was great, and the view was beautiful. There's a free shuttle bus to the airport and to see "The House of Dancing Water." There are also plenty of dining options. Lots of Disney elements, which the kids loved. We'll definitely come back next time!

This time for our family trip to Macau, we chose Studio City. In a nutshell: everything about this hotel is great, except for the rooms. For nearly two thousand a night (breakfast not included), opening the room door was a disappointment. The space was average, and the facilities were quite old. The room view was nothing special. The room quality was basically on par with an older 5-star hotel costing a few hundred yuan. However, the room snacks and minibar were free, and they also provided children's toiletries, so the service was still very good. On the first floor, there are many food and beverage shops, and even a Donki. On the third floor, you can ride the Ferris wheel, and the outdoor pool is also excellent. The kids had a fantastic time.
