SpringHill Suites Cincinnati Mason

This hotel was clean and the room looked nice at first. The breakfast was nice but ending at 9 was inconvenient. The pool closing at 10 meant my kids didn’t get a chance to swim. The bathroom is set up to make it very inconvenient for families. There is a barn door with wide gaps and no way of locking the door. Second the toilet is in the open and the shower has a glass door with no curtain. So there is no way to shower while someone brushes their teeth or uses the restroom. That meant only one person in there at a time for a room designed for 6 people. There were no linens provided for the pull out trundle. There was only a ratty looking blanket. I called down for a set which was not brought up even an hour later. Housekeeping never answered and it didn’t ring over to the front desk. So I had to go back downstairs around 11:30 pm to request it again. I asked for two flat sheets and a fitted sheet but was told they only had flats. That would have been fine but once I put the first sheet on and tucked it in, I saw the next one WAS actually fitted. So I had to take the other one off and start again. I wasn’t provided a pillow case for the spare pillow so I had to take one off the main beds. I wanted the second flat to put over the couch which was rough and since it was fabric was questionable looking but I guess that’s asking too much. Only three towels were provided. When I asked for more I did get them quickly in the morning from Laurie but with no apology. I also had to ask for shampoo and body wash which had not been refilled. Since everyone was sleeping I had to refill them myself and there was black mold behind it and the orange colored mold in several areas of the shower. There were three pillows on each bed instead of the normal four so I guess they want kids fighting over who gets the extra one. It was also hard to tell if the door was actually locked since there was no deadbolt. Luckily I had a door alarm with me. For $250 a night including tax, I expect more.

I went there with family but that was a great experience ! Very clean hotel and staff friendly! My kids love it , I will definitely go back there!

We were here for a sports stay with other families. We had no hot water. We actually had no water at all one morning and the desk had no idea. No water turned into no hot water for the remainder of our trip. Requested mgr contact who never had ability to reach out in the 4 days we were there. Not sure how a hotel functions with no hot water. I had 2 rooms booked and also couldn’t get one of my rooms refreshed.. only one did. So strange. Desk told me too many people called off on Saturday so things not working. I guess that means water and towels for guests. Still waiting to hear from Marriott. I will say the kitchen staff was super sweet.. but difficult to stay at a hotel for basketball games when you can’t take a shower and nobody seems to care.

Beautiful clean hotel in a nice safe area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds.

The room was comfortably furnished. We had a King suite. So a king bed with a desk area with sliding glass that could kind of give some privacy or division from the sofa area. The sofa was comfortable & could become a sofa bed & even had a trundle if needed. It also had a microwave, fridge & in room coffee pot. Very comfortable. The breakfast was very good & much variety. Better than I anticipated. ❤️

The hotel and staff were both great. I would definitely stay there again.

This property was clean and the room was accommodating for families with multiple kids. Breakfast was somewhat limited but fine for us. The issues experienced in the room included outlets not working. We had 9 devices to charge after busy days and we struggled to have them fully charged for the next day. Also the temperature in the room was difficult to manage. The air blew constantly even when turning up the temperature. The fridge was minimally used but when we put stuff in, it would not make or keep it cold. The last thing that was a bit frustrating was the lack of staff at the front desk. There was one manager, Laurie I think, that was very present. When she was not there, we could not find anyone at the front desk. They would be in the back and not checking for any patrons for up to 10 minutes, maybe more if we were more patient. We had to yell in the back and when they appeared, they seemed annoyed that we called on them. There was no bell or any alarm that went off when entering. Overall, we would stay again but there could have been some easy fixes to make our stay more enjoyable.

We enjoyed everything! The food was good and the pool was a little cold but the kids loved it! Room was very nice and spacious! Definitely coming back next year! Thank you so much for a wonderful time!
