Tru by Hilton Mason Kings Island

Dirty hotel that you see as soon as you walk in. Carpets in hallways had visible dirt all over them and the entire place smelled like mildew. Rooms were just as bad. Smelled musty, floor was dirty and beds were uncomfortable. Cannot believe this is a Hilton property. Will not stay here again and if this is indicative of Tru - won’t stay with this brand again either.

Worst Hilton I have ever stayed at. Smells like mildew, water on the floor under the air conditioning unit, large fan in hallway usually used for water issues, no closet in the room. Soap is empty in both sink area and shower and no one to correct it. Have to bring empty containers to front desk where clerk is irritated by being bothered. Surely won’t trust the breakfast. Doesn’t seem like a Hilton at all.

AC did not work well. Room stayed 75 degrees all night. Walls and ceiling were in bad condition. Finger nails in the bed frame.

Walked into the hotel and immediately smelled a musty odor but thought it was because it was hot outside, but I was wrong. The front desk personnel was unfriendly and was hard to understand. First room we were in the shower door was hanging off the hinges and the bathroom door didn’t close. Second room, if you kept the air on 65 you didn’t get covered in dripping condensation from the ceiling. If the air stopped, condensation formed on the mirrors and doorways. Kicker and final straw, zero hot water when we showered. Save yourself from the wet dog smell and avoid this hotel at all costs.

Great location by Kings Island. Breakfast was good. Was easy to get in and out of the hotel

The pillows ****** and the bed wasn’t the best. Worst sleep I’ve ever had at a hotel. Sore neck all day. Everything else about the hotel was good. Honestly could have had a little more to choose from or change up for breakfast.

The staff was excellent. We had a large number of guests in the lobby for a long time. Their were very tolerant of us and we very much appreciated it. Hotel was clean and quiet. Great weekend.

Refreshing & loved the breakfast. The fridge didn't work & AC thermostat wasn't working but room and overall experience was good.

Overall, hotel was clean and staff friendly. When we first checked in, the room smelled like sewage- we were able to change rooms immediately (smaller room). Rooms are clean but spartan- not much space- no place to open a large suitcase except on the bed. Location was good and facilities seem well maintained.
