Ambassador Hotel Milwaukee, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Overall my first stay at the Milwaukee Ambassador Hotel was really good. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and engaging and the food I had was very good. As far as my room, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The bathroom is where it needs some work. The shower head didn't want to come on right away and the water pressure was dismal at best. Also, it was very clear the shower tile/grout does not get cleaned regularly, as it was visibly dirty. One image shows the clean tile above the sink and the other is the dirty shower grout. Lastly, the 1st floor bathroom was so cute, but the 2nd door you walk through desperately needs to be cleaned and repainted. Please fix this. It gives a bad first impression.

I stay in Milwaukee regularly and the Ambassador is always a good bet. The architecture is amazing.

Here’s a rewritten version: The Ambassador Hotel is a stunning property that exudes Art Deco charm at every turn. The check-in process was seamless — I completed everything online in advance and simply picked up my key upon arrival. The hotel’s location is ideal, sitting just a couple of miles from downtown Milwaukee and within easy reach of American Family Field, the Milwaukee Art Museum, and the Harley-Davidson Museum. Stepping inside, I was immediately captivated by the vintage elevators featuring gorgeous gold doors that pull open — a small but memorable detail that adds to the hotel’s old-world character. My room was both spacious and spotless, offering ample space to relax or get work done, along with an incredibly comfortable bed. Just steps from the hotel, Michael’s Family Restaurant proved to be a fantastic breakfast spot. The hotel’s own bar and restaurant had an inviting, lively atmosphere every time I passed by, though I didn’t get a chance to dine there. A special mention goes to Artist, the shuttle driver, who was courteous, personable, and a genuine pleasure to chat with. The front desk team was equally impressive — polished and professional throughout my stay. I would return to the Ambassador without hesitation. An easy 10 out of 10!

A hidden Gem of the 1920s. She has very cool decor, excellent service and wonderful food. It's just not the best location. However, they do have a shuttleto the Riverwalk.

Checking in and checking out was easy. Bellhop,and front service people were polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They treated me with respect and also kept an extra eye on my car as it is a frequently stolen vehicle (challenger). Couldn't stay get closer to the venue The Rave aka (Eagles Ballroom). I even met the performers before hand that were staying in the same hotel. Jeff and Kevin from Hippie Sabotage. Altogether a great trip and we will be using the Ambassador again for our next show there.

Really cool art deco hotel with nice rooms and friendly staff. The hotel shuttle is really convenient. Perfect for my annual girls trip.
