Love everything about Kingston plantation! The operations manager at 78 fitness, Daniel Zanfardino and all other staff have always been very helpful and professional! 1000% recommend!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Embassy Suites was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I paid extra for both early check-in and late check-out, yet neither service was honored. To make matters worse, I didn’t even receive my room on my first day until 8:30 PM. After paying for the room and additional services, having to wait until the evening to check in was completely unacceptable. Because I lost most of my first day, I spoke with the hotel and requested to extend my stay by one night. I was told that my extension was confirmed. Later, the next day, I was suddenly informed that nothing had actually been extended and that I needed to leave immediatel as they were overbooked. Trying to solve the issue myself, I booked another reservation online. Instead of working with me, the hotel threatened to cancel my new reservation and still force me to leave, leaving us without a place to stay after we had already made plans for the day. I even offered to pay for an additional night or, at the very least, pay for a late check-out. Rather than finding a solution, management was dismissive and unhelpful throughout the entire situation. If the hotel overbooked, that’s an internal issue that should never become the guest’s problem. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened. We were the ones left scrambling with nowhere to stay because of mistakes that were completely outside of our control. The lack of communication, poor organization, and disappointing customer service—especially from management—made this an incredibly frustrating experience. I cannot recommend this hotel based on how this situation was handled.

Myrtle Beach, SC best place ever. Donald Gore 78 Fitness is the greatest person working for Kingston Resorts. Helpful, knowledgeable, super friendly, wonderful to talk to and really cares about what he is doing. Glad I have the privilege to know him.

Our condo was very clean; however, the kitchen could use some improvements in basic cooking tools, such as a frying pan, spatulas, and a drinking pitcher. During our stay at the Embassy Suites in Myrtle Beach, we met some wonderful people, but two individuals stood out to us: Nellie and Janice, who worked at 78 Fitness. Sure-nuff 5-star employees. Nellie appeared to be in charge of maintaining cleanliness at the facility. The restrooms were spotless, and the entire gym had a pleasant aroma, which is rare for most gyms. My son and I have sinus issues, but I felt comfortable breathing while working out there, making our experience enjoyable. Janice deserves a special mention as well. She was the kindest person we encountered during our stay. Every time we entered the fitness center, we were greeted with a smile and warm courtesy. While there were other nice people, Janice made an effort to remember our names, which added to our sense of welcome and comfort during our mini-vacation. My son and I are avid golfers, and Janice provided us with brief instructions on how to use the golf simulator. Since it was our first time with one, we found it to be an amazing tool to help improve our game. I truly appreciate both ladies for making our visit memorable, and they've inspired us to plan a return trip to the Embassy Suites in Myrtle Beach in the near future.

The resort itself is well maintained and clean. Janice at the 78fitness center is the most amazing and welcoming employee. She helped my brother and I greatly and made our trip better. I reccomend anyone visiting to check out the fitness center, it isn’t just a gym and the amenities are amazing.

We love being at Kingston Plantation. The property is beautiful and we love the fitness club. Daniel is always so helpful and makes our experience outstanding.

We had a pretty good stay here and would return! I'm sure part of the enjoyment is the continuing decline in ES properties, Hilton in general, and the nature of customer service now-a-days, but I guess because our expectations were lowered, this property exceeded them! The whole place felt new, except for a couple minor things, so that was really nice. With just a couple minor exceptions, the staff and service was good. The room was spacious and clean with a good view. Breakfast was large, typical mediocre quality, but what it lacked in quality it made up for in quantity. We were bummed not to get to partake in the manager's reception during our stay. The one issue we did report was promptly fixed by the staff! A few opportunity areas: - Biggest gripe: The noise. I know you can't control other people's behavior, but everyone who goes to a hotel shares one common goal: sleep. They may use a pool, eat, work out, have meetings, etc. But everyone sleeps. Why are the doors and walls to thin?! The slamming doors was really awful. - The whole bellhop/concierge luggage trolley thing is kind of silly and unique to this property. - Breakfast could start a little earlier (some folks need to be other places early and not getting breakfast until 7:00 can be a challenge since you are 20-30 minutes from other MB locations). - Not enough shade on the pool deck (but thanks to the staff who let us move chairs under the blue tent). - Front desk people, while generally nice once engaged, sometimes neglected the Diamond/Gold line by not paying attention. But this is really picking nits. - One pool attendant was kind of rude asking for room numbers without a greeting, or explanation. I had walked by them at least twice prior, so this caught me off guard, too. - Have you considered leaving instructions on how to work the balcony doors? I know most folks don't need it, but sometimes it's new (like for our teenagers) and they could have broken something trying to wrench them open without moving the bar first.
