Holiday Inn NANYANG by IHG

This hotel definitely has the most comfortable environment in Nanyang. After dinner, you can stroll in the garden and even catch the faint scent of flowers from the rose garden path just beyond the wall. The room offers a clear view of the Baihe River, which is lovely. However, the bathroom design feels a bit dated, with a combined bathtub and shower, meaning no separation between wet and dry areas. During my stay, I tried both the Chinese restaurant and breakfast. Both were decent, but I think adding more local specialty dishes would be a great improvement. As a regular IHG member, you get a 10% discount, which is nice. For breakfast, we went down a bit late, and when I bought an extra breakfast for my child, the staff didn't remind me that service ended at 10 AM. It wasn't until we were seated that someone came over to tell us about the time limit. So, I guess the price is just about right for the hotel's level. BTW, the front desk mentioned the dining locations during check-in, but didn't specify breakfast hours, though I also forgot to ask.

Blown away by the hotel's 'Hulatang' (spicy soup) and meat buns – absolutely delicious! The hotel itself is also beautiful, with excellent facilities, cleanliness, and great service. For that breakfast alone, it's an unbeatable choice! Highly recommend.

The Jianye Forest Peninsula Holiday Hotel in Nanyang is a true delight, with its stunning gardens and serene lake views. The rooms are spacious and bright, featuring panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that offer breathtaking views of the lush landscape. The service is attentive and meticulous, and the breakfast spread is both generous and authentically local. With a well-equipped pool and gym, it's truly an urban oasis – highly recommended!
