The room wasn't clean. A quick vacuum would have been nice. Bicycles in the reception area. Noisy. The recommended parking area is very unsafe. Car windows smashed. We won't be staying at this hotel a second time.

When we arrived around 11 pm, there was no one at reception. After a phone call, I was let in and had to have my room key programmed over the phone. The first room we were given hadn't even been cleaned. After a second phone call, we were given a different room. Unfortunately, this room was very cold; the heating didn't work well. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. The location is excellent.

A very charming city hotel in a beautiful old building located on the nicest shopping street in Nijmegen.
So far so good! Nice small room with fine beds. Unfortunately, the bed had been slept in!!!! And subsequently not changed.
At 5:00 PM, before heading into town, we reported this to the reception and requested that the bed be changed after all. The nice lady at the reception confirmed that this was not okay and reported it immediately.
At 11:00 PM we returned to the room......the bed was still in exactly the same condition and had therefore not been changed.......
Disappointed and a bit grumpy, we went to sleep anyway.
We have never experienced anything like this before.......
So be careful if you go to this hotel: never pay in advance, check first!

The hotel is located in the center, which is very convenient if you are visiting. Overall, I liked it. The room is not large but comfortable with an interesting interior. I really liked the hotel interior.
