Baymont by Wyndham North Myrtle Beach

This hotel was so very basic. Basically, the absolute bear minimum of where I would stay with my family. I will not be staying here in the future.

Do not stay here. My sister ended up leaving because of multiple silent calls from the front desk late at night. When she called the front desk and spoke to the man Samuel there, he proceeded to discuss how beautiful she is, a single woman traveling alone. This was creepy and scary for her, she immediately left. When I called to discuss this with a manager the next day, the person answering the phone refused to identify themselves, refused to tell me a manager's name and refused to give me a manager's phone number. He then abruptly ended the phone call. Completely unacceptable behavior. She was also charged more than what she was told she would be charged. (I was on the phone with my sister at the time of these strange silent repeated calls so I am sharing from my first-hand experience). AVOID

Everything was very clean and the agent Samuel at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Very attentive to guest needs.

Very modest, budget friendly accommodations. Room was clean and moderately comfortable. Pleasant front desk staff. I would recommend this motel for basic lodging where no luxury is required. There are 2 floors and NO ELEVATOR. Free continental breakfast was basic, as expected. I have no complaints regarding my stay.

Staff was professional and courteous! Answered all questions I had and seemed to be genuinely interested in my well being. Lots of places to explore and many food choices in the area!

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was clean, but there was an odor coming from the air conditioner and there was no in-room coffeemaker.

Arrived to check in and there was no one at the front desk. Called out after several minutes and no one answered. There was a phone number instructed guess to call for service. Called the number and a man with a strong middle easter accent answered. He advised me and my party that he was he was in the back giving himself "his insulin shot". I hung up the phone because I really thought I had the wrong number. Till the man came from the back ranting about patience. I laughed rather than engage the clerk because he was clearly upset by me hanging up. The clerk asked me for my ID and that's when a bad situation got worse. The clerk looks at my ID and says "of course you're from MD". I look at him and say "where are you from" being sarcastic. His response was I don't have to rent to you. At this point I felt unsafe and requested a full refund, and canceled the reservation.
