Port Lincoln Hotel

Amenities: The hotel room was fully equipped with everything I needed: a mini-fridge, tea bags, coffee, and even some small biscuits. Cleanliness: It was clean and comfortable. I stayed for three days, and the housekeeping staff cleaned the room thoroughly and diligently during my stay, unlike some other hotels where they just do a quick, superficial job. Environment: My room faced the sea, which was incredibly relaxing. It's about a 10-minute walk to the supermarket, and there are Vietnamese noodle places nearby. Plus, there's a KFC and a liquor store right across from the hotel, which is super convenient. Service: The hotel staff were very nice.

My wife and I stayed here this time, and the hotel's location was pretty good. It's close to the beach, which is lovely for a walk. The surrounding amenities are very convenient – there are quite a few fast-food joints and restaurants nearby. There's a convenience store about a 5-minute walk away, and a supermarket around 10 minutes, so no worries about restocking or dining. Unfortunately, the bathroom facilities in our room were disappointing. Both the showerhead and the bathtub faucet intermittently lost hot water. Every time we turned on the water for a while, the hot water would cut out without warning, only cold water would come out, and it would take some time to restore. While this was less of an issue when taking a bath, having cold water suddenly blast out during a shower in winter was a truly terrible experience.

This hotel has excellent air conditioning. The summer heat was no joke, hitting 40 degrees Celsius, but the AC here was incredibly powerful, truly top-notch for a hotel abroad. It has two large double beds, comfortably sleeping four people. Right outside the hotel, across a side street, is a shopping district with a wide variety of food options. Lincoln Beach is also directly opposite. It's super convenient to get to Coffin Bay, just a 45-minute drive.

Facilities: Good Cleanliness: Good Environment: Good Service: Excellent, restaurant is good. Great location, right by the sea. Walking distance to the shopping street, restaurants, tourist center, and supermarket. KFC is right across the street from the hotel. A gas station is also within walking distance, offering 24-hour access to basic necessities, food, snacks, and medicine. The hotel restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which is very convenient. The hotel doesn't provide direct taxi service but recommends four taxi companies' websites for booking. I booked a taxi to the airport, which was convenient and punctual.

The scenery was beautiful, and the service was good too. Remember to leave the clean towels on the floor.
