Holiday Inn Express QUEBEC SAINTE-FOY by IHG

Location off the highway, not close to store or restaurants. service breakfast only, great breakfast, no lunch or dinner service in the restaurant.

Perfect for a quick visit to Quebec City, though I do wish IHG had a property right in the historic center. That said, this Holiday Inn Express is just a brief drive from Old Quebec, and rideshare costs are very reasonable if you'd rather leave your vehicle at the hotel. The rooms exceeded my expectations for a budget-friendly option, they were spacious, immaculately clean, and genuinely confortable. Free parking was a huge plus, and every staff member we encountered was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The complimentary breakfast was surprisingly generous with plenty of variety, making mornings extremely effortless before heading out to explore the city. All in all, this is a solid choice if you're looking for good value, conveniance, and a base outside the downtown core without sacrificing quality or comfort.

Among all the IHG we have stayed all over North America, we have never experienced these: - the person on the counter is not accommodating and if only the hotel has cctv's we can use to complain about his negative interactions, it would be great. - the room is a big mess when we came in at almost 8 in the evening, towels on the bathroom floor, used bed and pillows, garbage, etc. - I personally and politely requested the front desk, I was shouted "SHOO" - More...

I was really impressed with all the express. It was really beautiful and clean and the breakfast was amazing and the day was so amazing.

Great for a short stay in Quebec, disappointed IHG don’t have any brands downtown or in the center, however the Holiday Inn Express is a short drive in and out of old town Quebec, reasonable prices for Lyft/Uber if you want to leave the car at the hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean, definitely more than I expected for a budget hotel. Parking included, hotel staff were all friendly and attentive. Breakfast plentiful and included in the price.

Clean, friendly staff but basic breakfast only, mostly fried. Good coffee at least. No teapot for tea drinkers - have to go to the dining area to get water. No slippers.

I had an incredibly disappointing stay at this Holiday Inn, primarily due to major plumbing issues and poor service recovery. The toilet in my first room (Room 220) stopped flushing, and when I contacted the front desk, I was told no technician would be available until the next business day. Shockingly, no alternative was offered until I explicitly asked if they expected me to stay in a room without a working bathroom. A room change should have been the immediate solution, yet I had to fight just to get the basic necessity of a functioning washroom.The situation only worsened after I spent an hour packing and moving to Room 208. This second room was in even poorer condition; the bathroom door wouldn't lock, and the air conditioning was so loud it disrupted my sleep. Combined with the fact that the hotel is currently difficult to access due to poorly communicated construction, the entire experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I regret choosing this hotel and would not recommend it.

Everything was good including the free breakfast. Only thing was that there were so many construction going on in this area so they eventually blocked off a section to enter the hotel. It was down to only one spot for enter and exit

Poor treatment at arrival. Staff was not able to answer my to questions mainly as to why my family and I were being put in the underground rooms while I booked ahead on f time.He kept saying that I should ask his Manager the next morning as didn’t why. He couldn’t ever respond to the simplest question! Upon arrival I presented my ID, staff looked in the system, and said I’m sorry mam’am I will have to put you at ground floor. I immediately knew something wasn’t right as he started by saying “Sorry” yet we were not even having a conversation. And from there I knew I will never think of staying there if I come back to visit Québec City. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
