Best Western Plus Raleigh Crabtree Valley Hotel

The site made this hotel look beautiful and upon arrival, I was immediately disappointed. The view from my hotel room was a car junk yard. The hotel website stated it had a pool, grill and patio, but the area I’m assuming they were located was “closed”. The location was excellent in proximity to everywhere we wanted to go and that was the best part of the stay. If I just needed a place to sleep and didn’t care about the view/amenities, I would definitely go back.

I enjoyed the pool and the A/C was very good in the room. I had a balcony that overlooked the road and shopping center. Balcony king room looks exactly as advertised. The room was quiet and the sheets and towels were clean. Appreciated the refrigerator and microwave in the room. The ceiling had an uneven plastering done, but it did not affect my stay. The balcony has a simple two chair and table set, nice to have a drink on during a warm night. However, there is not a great view as this hotel is right off the road toward the city. Breakfast ends at 9 am, I wish they would change it to 10. I did not bother to wake for breakfast the next morning so I don’t really know what they had except yogurt, coffee, and a pancake making machine. Overall was a great stay and the staff is kind.

The front staff is phenomenal. The gentleman with red hair who helped us was extremely friendly & kind. The room was spacious but not clean. There were little white clippings all over the floor which was either paint or ceiling peeling. Hair was in the tub. The hotel is spacious but it’s definitely in need of a good deep clean. The carpet in the main area is pretty dirty. The same white clippings are seen throughout common areas and elevator. The pool and outdoor area is nice. Breakfast was fresh with many options, which was great for our children. There wasn’t a TV remote which made finding channels a pain because we had to use the power button to maneuver. This suited us for a one night stay, but I’m not sure we would return if in the area again. The location is superb. Cheesecake Factory close by. Panera right next door.

Room was clean, breakfast was great & staff were friendly. My only quibble was there were no curtains, only a white and very thin fabric over the window.

The stay was ok, but nothing exceptional. And not worth the amount we paid. There was coffee but no coffee maker. Would stay again if necessary, but not for the price if avoidable.

Room was clean for the most part. When first walking into the room it did have a slight odor but nothing terrible. Staff was kind and very friendly. Breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast. 24 hour coffee definitely a plus! Parking is not that bad just follow and pay attention to the signs and you’ll be fine. Hotel is about a 15-20 minute drive to just about everywhere in the Raleigh area.
