avid hotel CHATTANOOGA SOUTH - RINGGOLD by IHG

This was my first time staying at AVID, and overall it was a very comfortable and great experience. The room was clean, with a nice minimalist design that made the stay completely stress-free. I would definitely love to stay here again next time!

Super clean, modern & friendly! Also great breakfast! I seen when the girls were cleaning rooms tha the beds were completely stripped. That’s always reassuring, especially after having to leave a hotel were it was obviously not done. Loved the extras- we had dove products and make-up wipes. Just the simple things when traveling are nice to come across. Breakfast- our options were scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, several cereals with regular and almond milk- loved that. Bagels, muffins, several fruits, oatmeal with many topping options, granola bars, 4 different juices, protein yogurt which is a huge plus as a weight loss patient. I might be forgetting a few things. The lady dealing with the breakfast area was super nice as well. Coffee was ground in the spot in a fancy machine with several good creamer options, not just half and half. water machine- which was a huge plus for us. Accessibility- top notch. We have a full time wheelchair user and the room was massive, we typically do standard rooms but they had accessible rooms at the same price so of course we took it. It had a shower seat and massive bathroom. All the drink machines had lower accessible buttons on them. It’s really the little things that make life much easier for disabled people. Avid is on top on our list now!

Very nice clean hotel. Breakfast choices were enough. I do wish they had packets of hot chocolate as I do not drink coffee.

We were on our way home from Florida and this location was about the halfway point. Great location and a very accommodating place to spend the night! The breakfast was good although not much of a selection. We will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic place to stay on the first leg of a 3-day long road trip. After 10 hours on the road, Priscilla at the front desk was so welcoming and friendly. She asked us immediately about our travels and asked us if we wanted a recommendation for dinner. We, of course, said yes….she recommended FORK TO TABLE. We had a blast there on karaoke night, meeting the locals and enjoying great food. Hotel is quiet, immaculate, modern. Not one complaint!

Location is just right. It is right next door to Cracker Barrel (If that is your thing. I can’t stand them!) but there are a pleasant amount of restaurants around. Highly recommended driving the short distance to Farm to Fork. They are way too noisy to lodge next to though. Stay here instead! Front desk staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. Room is clean and Nordic Style simple which I enjoy. Breakfast area could be set up a lot better as it was difficult to get breakfast items together. Lobby area and fitness room were just right.

We could not get the TV to cast to our Netflix after numerous attempts. We called a number for help, then got disconnected, and gave up. We watched Netflix on my laptop and eventually went to sleep without getting to watch entire movie due to spending time trying to Cast to TV. I’m very familiars with technology and AI tools, so it was very frustrating. Bar soap Would have been nice. Bed was hard but pillows were great. Breakfast was great and having ice containers by ice machine was brilliant. Staff were very friendly.

The staff was fantastic. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and comfortable. The only negative was that there was only one ice maker and it didn’t keep up.

The overall cost for this hotel was good for what it had to offer and the location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms liens were clean but my room floor was dirty as if the room floor wasn’t swept or mopped due to previous check out.
