Hôtel de Pavie

One of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed.  Really love the experience with hotel de Pavie from the room to the lovely garden and the view.  The service was flawless too !  The breakfast was great with nice view and not to mention the friendly staffs.  Highly recommended and I will definitely come back for sure 👍

Best hotel in the area, Has legacy and heritage. Quality service just a little old.

Merci, Merci, Merci…..to Emilion for moving to this rock in the 8th century! Hotel Pavie is literally atop the 8th century monolithic ( largest in Europe) sanctuary and does justice to the land. Beautiful property in the shadow of the multi century built bell tower it is majestic and THE location and property if you want luxury in the center of St Emilion. And really valued on a hot day. And if Thomas is working you are assured of a phenomenal cocktail and comfortable chat about all things France ( and a little USA) . He makes you feel at home! Two star Michelin restaurant ( did not eat as it was closed most of our visit) is beautiful but not to be out done by the patio, bar and THE BEST room; Les Lunelles! The only room on the floor, well appointed with a large, stunning view patio overlooking the town. Rise to the chirping of the birds, ringing of the bells, or views of the wine grapes maturing this room is awesome and quiet. Staff is more than present. They are on EVERY DETAIL. Marianne( sp?) at the front desk is incredible, see Thomas above, Kate at breakfast and gentleman waiter in the morning really kick start the day. TOP SHELF STAFF. Bell tower building ( not actually in a tower) is recommended but building next door is not a bad choice and connected by short steps and elevators. Emilion may may not have been canonized as a Saint, but Hotel Pavie is close to a miracle.

Everything was exceptional from beginning to end. This is a must see and stay!! The staff take time to know you personally and set up your tours, Chalet visits and food preferences before you arrive. The rooms are magnificent! The customer service is excellent and the area is picturesque.

Try to book the room by the Bell Tower . Spacious and bright with great views of the village . The hotel restaurants weren’t open on Sunday so suggest a mid week visit if you really want to eat at their Michelin starred restaurant. We were very happy with the alternative selection recommended by the hotel.

Hotel de Pavie is a hidden gem! My husband and I have stayed at fine hotels around the world and Hotel de Pavie is among the top two or three hotels at which we have stayed. The staff were amazing - they discreetly knew what we were doing each day (bicycle wine tour on our own; golf; private wine tour) and they enhanced each of our experiences with insightful recommendations and tips.

first class hotel, wonderful staff, and a very special experience to stay there. the hotel and rooms are really wonderful.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we departed, this felt like an absolute privilege. The location, the setting, the restaurants and communal areas were all superb. The staff were sensational and so helpful in every way. Thank you. We hope to return.
