Hyatt Regency Savannah

Super location right on the river walk. The hotel is clean and staff is very nice. However, the breakfast we per-purchased is not at the level on what we have paid for. There is not much choice and quality of the food is not comparable with 4-star hotel. We probably will get better food and lower price if we go out to eat. In addition, the hotel is showing its ages. The electric outlet on the bedside lamp is dead  so we can’t charge the iPhone at bedside. Another one in the bathroom also run out of its life, only one works. Well this is Hyatt Regency, we were not expecting this happening.

Nothing! Horrible room! We were placed in the very southeast room on the third floor with a WONDERFUL view of the driveway entrance to the hotel through the south window and trash facilities on the east window. We were celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary and had hope of getting a better view. We will not be back and will caution others NOT to stay there.

Location is the best, breakfast quality is good, staff is polite. Overall great experience, highly recommend.

Hotel location was very convenient, staff was friendly, accommodations were clean. One disappointment was excessive addition of fees and taxes on my credit card. I booked through a third party booking sight for convenience and cost. I did anticipate the additional fee of using the hotels parking garage, however I was verry displeased with all of the other additional charges added. I knew parking was $50 a day, I did not used any other amenities through the hotel, i.e.: breakfast, television, room service, however I was charged an additional $277 for an accommodation fee, occupancy fee, destination fee, ect... I did address this numerous times with the front desk, and was assured only necessary charges would be added, the rest would drop off. Overall, the accommodations were pleasant. However, we will not be returning due to excessive additional fees
