Shangri-La Resort

Staying at Shangri-La in Shangri-La was a unique experience. The hotel's decor style is quite distinctive, very different from other Shangri-La hotels I've stayed at in other cities. The room layout and arrangement were very well thought out, and the facilities were good. The staff were also very friendly. A young lady named Vivian even added me on WeChat to follow up on my stay, and arranged airport transfer when I left, which was very thoughtful. The hotel's overall location is excellent, very close to the North Gate of Dukezong Ancient City, and right behind it is the popular Xiangyang Road Farmers Market. It's incredibly convenient for dining, accommodation, sightseeing, and shopping. I highly recommend it to everyone.

The room has an oxygen concentrator and a humidifier, and the service attitude is excellent. It's also quite close to the ancient city. The breakfast selection is very diverse, and they even provide takeout boxes so you can pack food to take to the scenic area.

After traveling all the way from Dali and Lijiang, we all agreed that the Shangri-La Hotel was the best. Both the lobby and the rooms felt grand and clean. The only minor drawback was that the kids said there weren't any small cakes for breakfast, haha.

Facilities: A five-star hotel with excellent decor and amenities. Cleanliness: High standards, very clean. Environment: Convenient location with a great ambiance. Service: Attentive and patient. The hotel's location is excellent for getting around, and there's a large market nearby for local specialties.

The hotel facilities are quite old. It doesn't have a diffused oxygen supply system. There was a sudden power outage during my stay. The minibar only had one bottle of each drink, and it was only refilled on the night of check-in. The hairdryer only worked for 5 seconds at a time, requiring constant switching on and off, making it take ages to dry my hair. The only upside is the view of Songzanlin Monastery. Compared to hotels of a similar standard, the price is a bit high.

A very comfortable hotel with an exceptionally rich breakfast. The view from the room window was beautiful, and the hotel itself is quite spacious. The room featured a wet/dry separation in the bathroom, and they even kindly upgraded our room type. Many thanks!

The room temperature was perfect, and the oxygen machine provided ample oxygen, so I slept very comfortably. The hotel's breakfast was rich and delicious, and the view outside the window was also excellent.
