WHYTIME HOTEL

This is a hotel converted from an old building with a nice design. The ground floor houses the front desk, restaurant, play area, and laundry room. The upper four floors are guest rooms, with about 11 rooms per floor. The air conditioning in the public areas was set very cold. In the room, the AC airflow blew directly onto one side of the bed head, making it a bit chilly. The hotel has a good location in the old town; step outside and you're right by the small park area, and it's also very close to the riverside. The downside is that the surrounding area is prone to traffic jams. Breakfast is included in the room rate, offering dim sum, congee, and rice noodles. The dim sum is probably pre-made. We stayed for four nights (too lazy to switch hotels), and the breakfasts on days 1 & 3 and days 2 & 4 were identical with no variation whatsoever. You can do your laundry yourself on the first floor. There is only one washing machine and one dryer, so if you go a bit late, you will most likely have to wait. Prices increased significantly during the National Day holiday, about triple the usual rate. The night light is too bright, so you'll need a sleep mask.

The hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff were all very warm and attentive. The breakfast 🥣 consisted of authentic Cantonese dim sum. Located right in the heart of the ancient town, the hotel 🏨 is extremely close to the seaside.

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was! First, the location is fantastic, right in the heart of the Small Park district. You can just walk out and explore classic attractions—super convenient. Then, there's the hotel design; it's absolutely beautiful. Every detail, from the public areas to the rooms, has been thoughtfully considered. I experienced a thunderstorm one night, and there was hardly any noise, so the soundproofing is excellent! As for hygiene and facilities, they were impeccable. It's truly amazing that in such a prime location, they even dedicate a room to a children's ball pit! Finally, the service is outstanding. They set up a WeChat group for personalized butler service in advance, offering comprehensive guides to attractions and local food. There were also welcome fruits, bedtime snacks, and a breakfast featuring dim sum specialties, all of which were excellent! Overall, a solid five-star rating!

A very unique hotel with warm and attentive service, offering various thoughtful extras like evening desserts, handmade scented sachets, and Shantou picture frames. The location is super convenient, within walking distance to the Small Park area. Highly recommended 👍

The hotel is conveniently located near a small park, within walking distance, but not directly on the main road. The service was good, but the central air conditioning had a slight odor. While the breakfast looked plentiful in photos, the taste was quite ordinary, consisting mostly of frozen items. We only ate there once; when in Shantou, you really want to savor the local cuisine, so we opted to eat out the next day.

The room was very clean and tidy! The service attitude was exceptionally good! The breakfast was delicious!!! If you're going, you can book a parking space in advance. Plus, right outside the hotel is a small park, which is super convenient.

What impressed me most was that the hotel is non-smoking and offers a selection of essential oils with different scents in the rooms, making the air in the hotel and rooms fresh and pleasant, far surpassing most other hotels. I absolutely love it! The interior design and furnishings are exquisite, with attention to detail, showing a truly dedicated management. The room size is moderate; those with higher demands might find it slightly small, but the overall layout is well-designed. Since the hotel is located in the old city center, the lower floors don't offer much of a view, but it's within an acceptable range. The hotel's breakfast was good, but for me, the evening desserts were even more surprising. Thanks to the hotel for sending me two extra portions! 😀

The room was pretty good. Breakfast and desserts were delicious, and the breakfast was served in portions that could be packed to go. The location is decent; it's convenient if you're not driving and can take a taxi. It's just a few minutes' walk from the small park. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

A hidden gem in the old city, this hotel boasts an excellent location within walking distance of popular attractions. The staff are warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Highly recommended!
