Holiday Inn Express SILVER CITY by IHG

Room 327 volume on the tv remote doesn’t work. Stuck at level 13. Too quiet for my bad hearing. Cabinets shake as you walk. Everything else was great.

Definitely needs some shower/tub TLC. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Hair on door, in sink, in the shower and on the floor. Yuck!

The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good with good choices. We had a very nice stay

The parking lot was well lit with ample spaces. The staff were friendly. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We would choose to stay there again the next time we are visiting Silver City.

The door to the room didn't seem very secure. You could see light from the hallway outlining the entire door at night. The street light was out

for Accessible room barely enough room for me to manuever my wheelchair, couln'd turn around, beds were too high and dispensers in bathroom were all too high for me to reach.

We came in late but the rooms we had reserved were ready and waiting. The staff was polite and sweet!!

If you are driving, hotel is in a very good location: Near Silver City, quick access to the Gila National Forest and all of its attractions, and nearby groceries, pharmacies and gas stations. Place was quite, except for one morning when people where for some reason early in the morning making a lot of noises and triggering one of the fire exits. Pool was locked with a chain and lock, with no sign indicating the reason(s) or when it was going to be reopened. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious, with a sofa-bed and kitchen bar. Bed was comfortable, except for the so not-firm pillows, so if you have neck issues, request extra pillows or bring your own. Breakfast area is spacious, and the lady setting everything up was very kind.

Always an inexpensive stay that takes dogs. Beds very comfortable. Certain problems with the physical plant have long been unattended to: One of the main side entry doors has been broken for years and will not open. The elevator was out of busniess. The ice machine didn't work on the first floor. The door handles on the working side entry door and on room 127 were too hard for my wife open. These are simple-to-fix issues that the Holiday Inn Express organization should never let sliide. Message to the franchise owner: "Spend the money to protect your investment or quit the hospitality business."
