The hotel, the best but to pricy, so gritty expecting 6000 pesos for a less than 50 dollars game. Also not making up to the agreement, between Trip and Nickelodeon together. Last time I use both

Excellent destination and the best price was found on trip.com. My 8 year old son had the time of his life! I highly recommend this resort if you are traveling with kids!

My experience is for the day trip to go to the water park. We paid $600US for 2 adults, and two boys (6 and 9) to go to the water park, as we were staying at another nearby resort, Grand Velas. Grand Velas is beautiful but does not have water slides, different vibe. So we wanted to let the boys have a fun day at a water park! At first it was pretty fun, we got there right when it opened and beat the crowd for the water slide lines which I would recommend. Get chairs right away, people ‘save’ them and it gets hard to find shade after a couple of hours even half the people are not actually using the chairs. Food was fine, it was what we expected from other reviews. Service was quick. When we left through the gift shop we were checking out the Garfield merchandise with our older boy and buying him a water bottle which was $40 but he loved it. We looked for our younger son who doesn’t venture too far, and he was being told off by an employee because he had accidentally bumped into a water bottle and it broke. She was showing him how it was broken and he looked scared. I came over to ask what was required of me and she said I had to buy it and I said fine, and bought it. But this left a very bad taste in my mouth. Then I asked someone where to get a taxi and they said main lobby, so we went there. At main lobby I asked for some help to get a taxi and mentioned my family was just inside getting some air conditioning. The worker told me to get them out immediately as we were not paying guests, and to walk back to the park. This service was bad but maybe norms for the area, grand Velas is definitely a different class. We were planning on going to Nickelodeon next year but not after this.

As another reviewer has stated, this hotel is very disappointing for the cost. It is incredibly inconvenient because the rooms are located in one building with two restaurants there and an expensive store (smaller sized plushies cost $75). The lobby is a shuttle ride away (walking distance of about 20 minutes, but not advised by staff because of wild hogs in the area). In the lobby there are two more restaurants, one of them being the only buffet where you can eat breakfast, a small lounge and a small kids’ lounge next to the reception desk, which is convenient, and of course a store where everything is ridiculously expensive. The water park is in another building and another shuttle ride away from the rooms (it is walking distance from the lobby), where you can eat lunch. There is a kids club in the same building as the rooms, but it’s not easy to find. Almost everywhere you want to go to, you need to take a shuttle and probably wait in line. Half your time is wasted waiting for a shuttle. This is extremely inconvenient for people with very small children that are in strollers. It also gets annoying after a few days, because it feels like you’re constantly rushing to catch the bus. I’m still at this hotel and can’t wait for this trip to end so I can actually rest. I wish I could rest by the pool, but that’s located directly in front of people’s rooms on the first floor, making you feel like you’re intruding. Having travelled to several different countries and stayed at various hotels and resorts, I have to say that this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had in my travels. The staff has been very kind and helpful, but the layout of this resort and the constant back and forth between buildings is very unpleasant. The evenings are also pretty boring in terms of entertainment because the only entertainment available is at aqua nick, where once again you have to take a shuttle for going and returning. Whatever fun my kids are having is at aqua nick, which is available to non-hotel guests as well with a day pass. The kids club events are also hard to find because everything is so scattered and chaotic. All the fun things that are advertised on their website come at an additional cost. The only free thing is the character meet and greet, which lasts for maybe two minutes before you’re politely pushed out. If you’re considering this place because of the videos on social media, reconsider staying here. I got excited too watching those videos, but ended up being a letdown. Those videos don’t show the lines for shuttles and the constant back and forth. Instead stay at a hotel where the entire property is in one place that you can walk through and just get a day pass for Aqua Nick for the water park experience.

We wanted to do something special for our kids before they got too old. As a family, we have gone on over 20 all inclusive vacations, including Cancun, Costa Mujeres, Puerto Vallarta, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and Grand Cayman (although not all inclusive in Cayman), so we are not new to traveling and have plenty to compare to. At over $1500 per night, we were excited to take this once in a lifetime trip. Our expectations were high. We all got our nails painted like slime and SpongeBob. My daughter was drawing Dora and Boots like crazy. We couldn’t wait!! Got there and instantly you drive by the water park right off the Main Street. Looks nice. We check in and have to take a bus to our room from the lobby. They have 20 passenger vans there for the guests to transport people around. Golf carts only there as a butler service. But not a lot of them. If you enjoy nice scenic walks thru the jungle at other properties, this isn’t for you. The rooms are in one building about a mile away from the lobby and water park. The only way to get around, is by these vans. For every guest. For every stroller and person. They have 1 door that opens in the van and everyone piles in and out of this thing. Not my vision in paradise that’s for sure. We walked into the room to check it out. Pro-hotel room had 2 bathrooms in it. That was awesome. Pro-everything is clean Pro-every room has a swim out Con-our swim out pool was freezing, (it was middle of July) and about 4 feet wide. Kids didn’t want to swim in it cause it was too cold. Con-the ocean view was horrible of giant concrete blocks all over in the ocean in front of the hotel room. Pro-the main pool wasn’t far from our room and we could see it by looking down. Con-it is ALWAYS deserted. No waiter service. Want a drink-get in the pool Con-the main pool is so narrow and is connected other guests’ swim out rooms, that you always feel like you are intruding on others privacy. Pro-it has a nice water park over a mile away from the hotel room, that is super clean. Con-you have to wait in line for a bus to take you there. Con-tough to get a seat cause it’s packed with resort and non resort day pass guests Con-besides the water park and a 30 minute show each night, there is nothing else to do Con-they try to upsell EVERYTHING Arcade games-extra, face paint-extra, photos-extra, cabana-extra, steakhouse restaurant-extra, sit in a booth at breakfast-extra, character breakfast-extra, slime-extra. They also have plenty of gift shops selling their Nickelodeon products. First morning there and about 9:45am. We come downstairs from our Room and want breakfast. There is a line with over 100 people waiting to go to either breakfast or the water park. The only breakfast buffet for all of the guests in the whole place, you have to take a bus to it. Be ready to wait in line! For the bus and then again when you get to the breakfast buffet. We counted over 22 OPEN tables with no guests using them. Yet it took over 30 mi

The resort is perfect for families. From top to bottom everything is excellent and easy. Clean, great food, nice staff, not too crowded and excellent night time entertainment the whole family can enjoy. The quality of the available alcohol is high end for an all inclusive. Highly recommend to all.

We love everything about Nickelodeon! Our butlers Sandra, Stephany, and Sandro made everything so easy and comfortable. Even when we had an issue they fixed it as soon as I told them about it. Alex at Piazza made my husband’s birthday dinner unforgettable! He anticipated all of our dining needs and made sure we enjoyed everything. Also, our butlers made a special birthday balloon presentation to surprise him when we got back to the room. My kids never want to leave every time we go. Thank you to Nickelodeon and Exotic for another relaxing and fun vacation.

I don’t often write reviews, but Nickelodeon Resort exceeded every expectation so I wanted to help anyone on the fence about booking here hopefully decide to give it a shot. Starting at arrival - we had to wait a little longer than we would have liked at the airport for the transfer, but the transportation is free so I can’t ding anyone for that. I might suggest booking a private transfer if you have the means, it would be less time in the heat waiting for the shared shuttle. The Lomas Travel employees were very nice, helpful, and easy to find. The hotel is less than 30 minutes from the Cancun airport so it’s a pretty easy trip. Once you arrive at the hotel, we did not have to wait for check in and it took about ten minutes. We did not receive the kids slime slushies or welcome drinks but I’ve seen others get them. It probably depends on when you arrive. They did try to upsell us on a nicer room but we politely declined and it was not an issue. They also want you to go talk to the Lomas Travel desk and concierge, but we passed on both and went straight to the room. My guess is that this is where the sales pitch you see on other reviews comes from, but this was not our experience. Even at the Lomas Travel desk, the gentleman let us know what they had to offer but was not pushy at all. The lobby is amazing and there is a play area to drop the kids off while you check in. The room was fantastic for the most part. We had a king suite and the partition is very nice to have. The pool off the room wasn’t heated, but in July the temperature of the water was pleasant. If you watch any of the YouTube/TikTok reviews, that is exactly what you can expect from the room. The Murphy bed slanted down a little bit which caused one incident of falling out of bed, but otherwise the king bed was comfortable and the finishes were very nice. It’s a little noisy but nothing out of the ordinary. The mini bar is well stocked but you do have to request replenishment. The hotel portion doesn’t seem that big and the resort never felt crowded during our stay. The rooms on the pool level cost extra but I honestly don’t know why. People can see right into your room if they’re using the pool. The beach isn’t anything special but the view is great. They have character meet and greets in the hotel building which is nice, and there is a secondary front desk so there is always staff there. The food was good to very good across the board. We went on a Royal Caribbean cruise last summer and I went to an all-inclusive in Cabo last winter, and the food here was MUCH better than both. Good Burger was a hit with the kids but the better food for dinner was at Piazza and Yacht Club. Piazza is a family style experience where they send out food for the table without you ordering, however you can order a la carte if you’d like. Yacht Club was the favorite of our group which offered Mexican cuisine and a ton of variety. Le Spatula is essentially the only breakfast option but it has a hu
