Crown Promenade Melbourne

I am enjoy stay at Crown Promenade near from public transportation, foodhall and many places to closed there. I am very disappointed about the incident where we were charged for bottled water; we had previously asked Guest Services whether it was complimentary, and they confirmed that it was.One more thing: our room wasn't cleaned, even though we had turned on the "make up the room" indicator.

Perfect place to stay if not the back view🙄Been staying for how many times but very first with family and we got the back view of warehouse roofs. Better luck next time😊 The best part is the promenade pool is under renovation so, we get to access the Metropol and Towers Pool. Buttt.. the walking is the killer and to go across the towers with little one is a no no 😂 We loved our stay and would definitely coming back soon.

The room is very nice, clean, great views, and concenicent location to downtown. The breakfast was good!

I recently stayed at Crown Promenade Melbourne and found the experience disappointing in several areas. My biggest concern was the housekeeping service. Every day, I left my room at around 10:00 AM for sightseeing and returned after 4:00 PM, only to find that my room had still not been serviced. For a hotel of this standard, I would expect housekeeping to be completed well before late afternoon. Returning after a full day out to an uncleaned room was frustrating and became a recurring issue throughout my stay. Even after housekeeping had been completed, the room did not always feel thoroughly cleaned. Dust was clearly visible on some surfaces, which was surprising and disappointing. A clean room is one of the most basic expectations when staying at a hotel, and the housekeeping standards did not meet expectations. The rooms themselves feel dated. Features such as the traditional turning-knob taps give the rooms an older appearance, although it appears the hotel is making efforts to upgrade and modernize parts of the property where possible. I also found the signage around the Crown complex lacking. Navigating between different areas, including Crown Towers and Crown Promenade, was more confusing than expected. On several occasions, I found myself walking around in circles trying to locate where I needed to go. Clearer directional signage and property maps would greatly improve the guest experience. Another inconvenience was the lack of complimentary bottled water or easily accessible drinking water facilities for guests. This is a basic amenity that many hotels provide, and its absence was noticeable during my stay. It would also be helpful if the hotel provided guests with maps and information about Melbourne's key attractions, transport options, and nearby points of interest. As a visitor, I felt there was limited guidance available. The staff were generally polite, but the overall service experience was average rather than memorable. Despite booking well in advance, I was assigned a room on one of the lower floors, which was a little disappointing. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but the slow housekeeping, visible dust in the room, lack of drinking water facilities, confusing wayfinding within the complex, and dated room features made it difficult to feel that the hotel delivered value consistent with its reputation.

We booked a King Standard hotel for this trip as we have the special rate from Trip.com. Before we arrived we received an email from Trip urging us to write an email to ask for early check in as we also booked an airline ticket thru Trip. When arrived in hotel ard 9.45 am we were offered a room ( with immediate availability ) but with a payment of AUD 50. When I asked for a twin bed room as usually King and Twin Bed will have same rate, but not this hotel. If we were to change the bed style we have to pay AUD 30/night for 5 nights 😅😅another AUD 150. Enough for all the morning communications so we just ignore the bed details and went straight to our room after the payment. On the day we checked out we came to know that the front officer recharged our hotel fee even when Trip.com confirmed that everything was fully paid. What a money maker hotel!! Front officer told us they will refund us the amount though. However the room is small and nice and everything was up to international 4 standard but Crown ****** Tower has a much more beautiful and bigger room. Though both have stunning nice view of the Yarra River as in attached.

Love it great location and buffet breakfast for the kids was amazing. Only downside the pool was cold and spa not hot at all.

Overall, it was a good stay, but we expected a little more. The water pressure in the room was weak and the water temperature would randomly turn hot and cold. As we were staying for 9 nights, we requested a room change the next day, although the replacement room had a less desirable view. The shower also doesn’t have anywhere to hang the towels, meaning you have to step out into the cold to reach for your towel behind the door, not the most thoughtful design. Located 1 stop away from the free tram zone, which is ＜10mins walk, that benefits from getting into CBD.
