Judita Palace Heritage Hotel

Everything is good.

Great hotel with an even better staff. Hotel is in a perfect location close to restaurants and attractions and has a really nice gated courtyard bar. We had a 6:30 am flight and the hotel was great in helping us. They helped us reserve an Uber, packed us a breakfast to go and even helped us get our bags to the uber stop. We appreciated this and thought they went well beyond our expectations! If you are a runner this is a good spot. Only a few blocks from the waterfront where I was easily able to get in a nice run.

This is the most amazing place with service above and beyond any place we have ever stayed. It started with an email before we arrived that carefully explained all options including costs for transportation from the airport to the hotel - taxi, Uber, driver. We opted for a driver and we were picked up at arrivals and driven to the hotel. The Judita Palace is in a pedestrian only area, very close to the old city walls. When we arrived, Andy was there ready to take our bags and walk us to the hotel. We were glad we did this as it was down a few alleys to the hotel. Andy made us feel right at home and we felt so welcome and comfortable. Our room was large with stone on two of the walls, large windows that opened to the pedestian square, and a large bathroom with heated floors. When Andy found out we had scheduled 3 days in Korcula, he drafted a detailed itinerary with ferry times, places to visit, favorite restaurants, etc. all which gave us an opportunity to visit 3 islands in that span of those 3 days during the off season. Andy also gave us exquisite restaurant recommendations for our stay in Split and scheduled a private historical tour with Vicktoria. All the staff were amazing. The breakfast was very tasty and eggs could be made to order and Maria did a wonderful job putting everything together. Luca, the bartender in the downstairs indoor/outdoor bar was very personable and engaging. All of this, the friendly people, the extra attention to service, etc. gave us great insight into the Split culture and people.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. The hotel is located on the main square in old town just across from the Roman Palace. The hotel, the room and the breakfasts were wonderful. Our stay was made special by the friendly entertainment form our host Andy.

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is great. Our driver called ahead and they met us outside the old city gate and helped carrying our suitcases on the short walk to the hotel. When we went to Hvar after the stay, they arranged shirt golf cart ride for us to go to the ferry terminal. Breakfast is delicious and beautifully presented. Room is quiet even though facing a popular square. It rained when we were there, and Split is bigger, more crowded and less charming than some smaller places we visited. But this hotel made up for some of Split’s shortcomings.

Very good service, classic and chic room, good breakfast. I did not ranked it for the maximum though because I expected the breakfast location to be outside on the square area as shown on the pictures rather than inside in an area that seemed improvised. Also the way from the lobby to the elevator was kind of messy in terms of the furniture that were covered and unused
