Residence Inn Stockton

Front desk was great. Room was nice and clean as were common areas. The shortcomings were: 1) Breakfast buffet - during regular open hours items were out and not restocked (breads and fruit). Even water was out and not refilled in the half hour we were there. 2) There are no ice machines. That is a standard hotel amenity in my book, especially in summer in Stockton. 3) No checkout option on the TV. 4) There are no water refill stations.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and it never disappoints. It started with the wonderful Dee Dee at the front desk - our check in experience was quick, effficient, and friendly! Our room was terrific, the bed comfortable, the included breakfast satisfying. We will definitely return!

I had a wonderful 10-day stay at the Residence Inn Stockton. This was my mom’s favorite place to stay in Stockton periodically from 2007–2017, and it’s just as great as I remember it. When I saw the location of my assigned room and noticed the fireplace inside, I realized it was one of my late mom’s favorite rooms, which brought back many happy memories. Erwin, Deedee, and the entire front desk staff were especially welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. As a light sleeper, a quiet room at night is extremely important to me, and I was very pleased with how peaceful my room was. I also really appreciated being able to check in early. The breakfast buffet was one of the highlights of my stay — especially on the days when the amazing spinach quiche was available! I try to eat healthy, and each morning there was a great selection of yogurt, fresh fruit, and cereals in addition to the hot items. Having a full kitchen and dishwasher in the suite was very convenient, and the nearby laundry machines were also a big plus. I loved being able to sit by the pool and get work done on my laptop — the Wi-Fi was excellent, even outside. It was also nice that the on-site gym includes mats for yoga. As a woman traveling alone, safety is very important to me, and I always felt completely safe here. The neighborhood is safe, and the hotel itself is well maintained and secure. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping my room tidy and well stocked throughout my stay. My only minor suggestions would be softer sheets and brighter lighting in the rooms. I also hope the evening manager’s reception might return someday. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would not stay anywhere else in Stockton. I’m already looking forward to my upcoming six-week stay!

The staff went way out of their way to make my visit, feel welcoming… Making sure I could book a second night in my same room and that I knew where everything was. They refreshed my key before I had to find out the hard way that it wouldn’t work on the second day. The food was very good and if I had more time there, I would’ve used the pool. Room was very spacious and very nice nicely furnished.

Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Free parking. Quiet neighborhood.

I apologize for not giving my grandchildren’s names and that caused some confusion. Thank you for taking care of them. I will do better next time.

Very friendly staff. The lady at the breakfast was helpful and asked us if we wanted some items that had run out in the buffet. Also our smoke alarm went off from my cooking and a staff person was at our room in 1-2 minutes to check it out and help ventilate the room. I was surprised by the speed at which he showed up.

Clean room, only one staff for check in and she seem to be hiding most of the time. Took me awhile to get her attention by calling the reception number.
